Are you using him with your main or a seperate team? He can be buffed by both Konan and Iruka (or any other Konoha buffs). Off the top of my head you c*e him with Iruka, GNW Kiba (who guarantees knockdowns if I recall), and Kabuto. This gives you interrupts, clones, heals, guaranteed combos, shields and thats not counting orochimaru.

Certainly not the best setup with him, but it'll do in a pinch.

He is really good with GNW Neji as well, since Neji will sponge a lot of dmg turn 1, then usually die turn 2 and turn into Hashirama.

Lol I use the same strategy, though not with neji, and now I wish I had thought of that. With my KT Orochimaru I'm essentially running a squishy team that will buff and shield my other teams and one healer. I want half that team to die, I want him to summon Hashirama and Tobirama. I run him with Iruka to use his buff to my other teams since I run all Konoha nin with the exception of Chiyo 10 puppets and Ao, Playboy Sasuke to use his buff because the majority of my teams are female, (lol get the picture?), and Shizune to stack poison as a water main and get extra healing on my other teams. There's a possibility for every ninja on my teams to get some sort of buff. The ones that aren't Konoha nin are either shielded by Ao's water/fire buff, or are given Sasuke's Female buff.

One of the more annoying ones I've seen is

Sai - Naruto - X
Orochimaru KT - Kabuto - X
X - X - X

Infinite clones from Kabuto, Naruto and Sai, and if one of them does manage to die, Orochimaru creates the Hashirama clone to replace it. Basically impossible to break through, since the clones regenerate every turn, and Ranked targeting is far from the best.
