Kurenai is really good, because not only does she work with Hinata. She also has a heal, a shield, and reflects status effects back onto the enemy.

Kabuto is good if you need to keep your team alive, or just swarm the field with clones.

In my opinion. You should go with Kurenai.

Well I can't really help much. I'm a water main, so I don't know anything about Earth. I'm thinking though Kurenai might still be better, cause of what she does... I might have figured out how to help you out.

Okay. 1st Hinata. She can Knockdown, Knockdown, then 2nd Kurenai, who can chase Knockdown into repluse. Hinata then chases repulse to Knockdown, then Kankuro chase to Low Float, then to ?

I don't know if earth main has a chase for Low Float or not.

I should have said. I'm unlocking Earth. My main is still water, but I want to try earth out just to try another class. Yes I have some really strong Earth players in my group.
