  • the lag on this new client is unbearable is there any way to go back to the old one?
If you still have the installation package of the old client, you can uninstall the new client and reinstall the old client.

I also happen to use a mac. With the small number of players using macs playing this game, it is simply unrealistic to expect a client to be developed.

This is a browser game, so it's highly unlikely that an app will be developed.
However, you c*e Puffin to play the game on your phone.
