  • yes, my eyes still do its job.
    i can read OP words.

my question is, which skill shall be replace by unyielding?

also, it is not that he "revive". from the start, he have 5 "heart" with different chakra type
Maybe his passive where if a friendly unit dies he does a different attack?

  • ahh, that skill.
well it is a good skill in my opinion. have guarantee repulse iirc
but i'm not against the idea if developer want to replace it with unyielding
Maybe make his HP 1/3rd of what it is but he has to be killed 5 times, so he can still be shutdown because he can be 1 shot by most people but if he doesn't he can still do damage

  • Kakuzu and hidan are like the black sheep of akatsuki at least kakuzu is good for clearing some ninja exams but ye it's counter intuitive that one of the immortal pair is one of the squishes ninja in the game maybe when tobi gets nerfed he could lose his revive and kakuzu could gain it? That's not how Kakuzu works. Wait until his alternate form comes out and I'm sure if he had revive you would say something about that.

  • I don't really understand what you are trying to say here .
I don't think it would be good to have Kakuzu with a revive, especially with his alternate form being as strong as it. His next form is actually really tanky, this Kakuzu is squishy and I'm not sure why.

  • Can you explain what you meant by " I'm sure if he had a revive you'd have something to say about that" I don't want to misinterpret what your saying so if you could elaborate for me what you are trying to say there. This post was last edited by Belerephon at 2016-11-7 22:18
No, we're talking about Kakuzu and this is a Kakuzu thread.

  • Can you please try to stay on topic then in the future without personal comments of that kind . As whether I'm likely to comment on something has nothing to do with the discussion at hand .
Thank you. This post was last edited by Belerephon at 2016-11-7 23:59
I was on topic and told you not to get off topic, don't be hypocritical.

As well, if you're not already aware you can look at the future Kakuzu's abilities and such online, you'll see how much better he is.

  • I don't see why it matters if the other ninja is tanky since they are 2 different ninja .
I'm talking about 1 ninja here, Kakuzu.

  • i like the idea of adding the unyelding passive to him.

maybe replace the standard atack with the wind style atack, without the necessity to have a friendly unit die but make it a chance to cause repulse and not garantee?

After all he already has a chase that gives the high float anyway, so that wouldnt mess him much.

And this would be changes only to the normal Kakazu, not for the one we dont have yet
Hm, that might be better yeah. I don't know how balanced it would be.

  • You don't mean the awakened kakuzu version? They are 2 different versions of kakuzu so what the other one does is kinda irrelevant because as far as I can our version stays the same .I wouldn't like to speculate based on ninja we might not even get but I think kakuzu would still be balanced with revive his mystery is 60 not 20 like tobi and he has extremely low defencive stats compared to tobi so IMO a revive would make him true to his immortal image without breaking him in the game that we have now not some future hypothetical version that might not be the same.I really like kakuzu and I'm really sad that he is essentially never used because of how easy he is to killl in pvp. I think replacing the trait where he does different attack when someone dies with revive is a great idea.

I do agree that a revive would be good for him, but keep him squishy with it. Even then I still think he'd be very niche.

  • Ye of course. So he stays a glass cannon but at least gets to use hist mystery after revive.
I still don't think he does enough damage though, probably because his mystery removes buffs.

  • I think its because its multi elemental so multiple sources take 20% more dmg from it.
Ah that too and AoE. I feel like hes way better in ranked.

  • He is not viable now because he can't deal CC. His mystery require too much chakra and he is too squishy to survive after round 2.
He is better after skill book but now? Meh
Even with revive he will die and die again because he is not like Tobi or Orochimaru who can stand in front line, his normal movement spot is 3rd or 4th so I think instead of give him a revive just give him a self shield and sai's elementals passive.

  • Still prefer give him a shield more than revive tho.
In term of RB I'd choose GNW Kankuro over him anytime simply because everything he can do, GNW Kankuro do it better. His buff remove is not that great because it's only 3 targets, 60 chakra cost mean he can only use it in 3rd round when most useful buffs already fade away. Not to mention in RB it's totally random, you can't control which team you want to remove buff.
Konan is for shields.

Why not both.

You can control it by placement, it takes skill.

  • You're correct.

I've been using him in ranked for a long, long time now, and I have to say that's he's extremely viable with the right team.

He's just not viable in 1v1's or GNW because people tend to go for him first and as a result, due to his squishy state, he gets 1-shot most of the time.

Very true. Auto combat can be wonky at times, but thanks to it being wonky Kakuzu can do well.
