Summary: A continuing story of the 5 Naruto Online Mains in a slightly different universe than the actual Naruto.

***The settings have been slightly shifted from the Naruto universe to match the story. They'll be explained as the story progresses, but don't be surprised if you suddenly find someone that was alive dead, or someone dead alive. =D


Note: I'm using character titles for the names temporarily (Midnight Azure Scarlet Breeze Crimson), but definitely willing to decide on an actual name. Comment below if you've got any name suggestions!

Note 2: Rated it as T because I plan on writing some material that should definitely be rated like that. However, not all of them are necessarily T.


Past (1): Academy Exam

Iruka slid the door open as he walked into the classroom. "Alright, class! It's exam day. As you all know, I'll be testing you guys on your ability to make a clone." Crimson tapped on Scarlet's shoulder with his finger as he whispered into his ear quietly so that Iruka wouldn't hear him. "Hey...you got me, right?" Scarlet sighed for approximately the 36th time as he answered without even turning around. "Yeah, yeah, you've been asking every 10 minutes for the past 6 hours. Jeez..."


Crimson gulped, and nervously raised his hand. "Iruka sensei! Could-could I go first?" Iruka looked over at Crimson with a surprised look as he waved his hand, signalling him to come over to the front. "Well! You've been practicing, huh? Let's see the results!"


Crimson slowly walked up, trying to fake whatever confidence he had left, which was not working very well. Scarlet smirked and giggled to himself as he watched the biggest guy in the class act like a little girl with sweat dripping down, his legs desperately trying to not shake. Crimson formed the sign with his hand as he almost yelled. "Clone Jutsu!"


Quickly, Scarlet formed the handsigns with his hand under the desk so nobody would catch him as he quietly whispered. "Clone Jutsu...transformation Jutsu." A white puff of smoke exploded beside Crimson as he slowly turned his head to see what was in the smoke. As the smoke dissipated, it revealed an identicle image of him, looking back at Crimson dumbly. Iruka smiled as he clapped for Crimson. "Well done! You've improved a lot, Crimson!"


Crimson undid the handsign, and Scarlet quickly followed suit as he undid the jutsu, the clone disappearing into thin air. Crimson answered as he scratched his head, a dumb smile on his face. "...Thanks, Iruka sensei." He walked back and sat down beside Scarlet, whispering to him again as he tried hard to not laugh. "Thanks Scarlet...you're a real life saver."


"Psh...you still owe me a favor, Crimson. Don't get too happy." Scarlet placed his chin on his hand as he continued to watch as others went, some failing and some succeeding. Finally, he saw Azure go up as he wondered what she would do this time. She said she'd do something fun today, and whenever she did it, Iruka wasn't too happy about it. She tapped Iruka as if she was about to pull a prank. Iruka stared down at her weirdly as he spoke. "Well, uh...Azure. Let's see what you can do. Go on." Azure answered back, but strangely her voice came from outside through the window. "Bye~~~" Everyone turned towards the window to see Azure waving as she walked towards the gate outside, then turned back to the front of the classroom where another one stood. The water clone at the front disappeared in a splash of water as it spilled onto the floor.


Iruka stared at her outside as she soon disappeared from sight beyond the window, sighing as he contemplated on if he should fail her for skipping. "Ugh...I guess that's a pass. Next up, we have..." Iruka pointed at Midnight as he was just about to say his name, "Mid-" but he was cut off as Midnight formed the handsign in his seat wordlessly, producing a clone beside him, staring coldly back at Iruka. Iruka chuckled nervously at the cold reaction. "...Good one. Scarlet, you're next."


"I get tested on this too? Eh..." Scarlet weaved the signs in his seat as well. An identicle image of himself popped up on top of the desk, looking around the class as if looking for something to do. Iruka checked off his name on his paper as if he expected it. "Well, it's the rules, after all. And lastly, we have...Breeze."


Breeze walked up confidently. Standing at the front before Iruka, she formed the sign for her new jutsu she's been practicing. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" A clone popped up beside her, smiling back at Iruka. Iruka's eyes widened as she made the shadow clone. "Good job, Breeze. You're the second person to ever pass this exam with that jutsu!" Breeze giggled as she undid the clone, walking back to take her seat. Iruka looked down at his paper as he checked off Breeze.


"Alright, and that's everyone. For those of you that failed, we'll study hard and succeed next year, okay? And those of you that succeeded...congratulations! You guys are qualified to be Genins now. You'll be assigned to your teams soon, so be ready for that!"
