one consideration is that GNW kankuro fragments were offered for sale today, and a similar thing may happen at some point with Shino, so those frags may not have to wait for a third repeat to be useful if you really care about the ninja.

after further thinking, I might refrain form buying konan. Over 120 bucks for her and I would still be missing ninjas to make a team with her, now just wouldn't be the smartest time. :| Sigh I really like her too, maybe ill just work on a deidara team

To be honest, I'm fairly bummed that we are repeating ninja so soon. I like Shino, and may even try and use him if I have him 3 star, but I figured it would be like what you were saying, we would see him show up in an event (we have already seen Kankuro, and Kiba (last week) show up) to get him to 3 star. I also thought it was a fair possibility to see him show up in one of the shops with next weeks up date.

But again, I just figured I would ask why we were seeing him again so soon. And since I was already typing, I figured it couldn't hurt to see if we would be able to get him to 4 star for free, seeing as how this is the second time he was a reward. (My math suggests we will still be like 45 fragments away from 4 star by the end of the month... so a second month with him as a reward does nothing but get him what we should have earned the first time around :( )

Yeah, I'd be bummed too if I didn't have him. Certainly wouldn't be excited to see Kankuro 3 months from now. I thought they'd just do a simple schedule of going through the 12 (I think it's 12 total?) GNW ninjas and then repeat once and move on to another reward after the second year.

I have no idea how it was done on the CN, but I figured there wouldn't be a repeat. If you are only getting 80 frags out of the month, even if you already had him 3 star, you would not be able to get him 4... so repeating a month doesn't really do anything but reward those who missed it the first time around. I really thought they would run through the full list of GNW ninja, and then move on to another theme and simply put the GNW in the shops.

Well, comrade, this is happening because it's previous week's event. It's there for 1 more day to let people claim their rewards. You can't open any new chests.

On the one hand, it's just 10 points, on the other, i'm a little upset about not getting them. What can you do about it? Maybe you'll join my guild on s7 as a compensation? :D
