I'm sorry Oasis, but how does this make any sense? Why do the bottom 2 groups in the qualifiers face EACH OTHER in the finals? Does this mean that we shouldn't try at all in the qualifiers so we can have an easy way to the final?

  • Well, the idea behind the brackets being like that is it encourages teams to fight for every place, even if they can't win first during qualifiers, coming second or third in qualifying gives them a greater chance of being in the semis.
so you think it's fair for the last placed team in qualifiers to go straight to the final? Why should we try to get 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in qualifiers then?
