I personally see that to be *my. Banking on your player base to * their resources before releasing something that would interest them more just to try and squeeze money out of them.
Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with making your players choose between things. But making them play this guessing game instead of legitimately giving them a choice between two rewards is *my.
The question "Is this worth it" is not as good as "is A better than B"
Well, if they do decide to do it earlier, it needs to be like a full day earlier, so that you don't have only a small section of the playerbase with the opportunity for extra information.
