Ori is currently not a threat in NW, but his existence hurts the server. He has been and will probably remain untouchable. For a game that really relies on pvp, destroying the 1 spot is bad for business. Even if he's not going to play his presence is frustrating to all other players who want to compete. He literally rewrites the book on what it means to be a casher, and if 100% of the other cashers are unwilling to pay to keep up with him- because they are cashing to compete and his existence makes competing in our server too costly- then that hurts that important segment of the playing population.

So, our server is left with players who truly enjoy the game without hopes of taking number 1 or people who feel too committed to up and leave (either because of spending money and/or making friends). There is also the fact that a player like Ori, however unlikely, can appear anywhere, and merging servers means that you can't escape the likes of him even if you are fortunate enough not to have such a depressingly powerful player on your server from the beginning. Still, so long as Ori is on the server, there seems to be a lot of resentment, this is less since he has gone quiet and no longer rules the 9tails, sage war, and every other pvp event. But, still the feels are negative.

LoL, bra sure there is def. jealousy, but you can't tell me that having a player create that large a power gap actually is good for competition. Please don't troll a thread. Look at the argument, if there are actual holes, feel free to point them out with clear explanations. Not saying your feelings/opinions don't matter, but if they aren't rooted in reasoned thought, logic, or data... then they're not worth anyone's time.
