My back up teams are
Hinata, 3star Sasuke, Karin, and War kiba
For newer servers who don't have War kiba, 3 star naruto works or even kankuro.
Karin can be obtained over time from group shop.
Role, its to deal as much damage as possible before dying and status effects will stop a combo from starting.
Turn 1, this really depends on what type of team your facing. Use hinata or sasuke's mystery.
Turn 2. Use either sasuke's mystery or kankuro/war kiba/naruto's mystery on the enemy who is about to cast a skill.
This team works pretty well against Lightning teams with assassination and bloodthirst with hinata taking the 1st hit and kiba/naruto getting combo's and status effects during that round.
This team will last 1 to 3 rounds against even or stronger teams. Reason being is karin heal's are very low.
Move Naruto/Kiba/War Kiba against enemy Hinata or that 4th ninja thats unprotected.

Stall team. Its a team designed to last 10 rounds and lose
If you can build a better team by all means do it. I just have a hard time killing a couple players in survival so I built this team specifically for them.
Gaara, Kabuto, Kurenai and Yamato/Great War kankuro.
Kidomaru, Kimaro, Kabuto, and either shizune or sakura for pure free to plays.
Should be obvious what the team is designed to do. Stall for a time out. The reason I build this team was because of a water team, Konana, animal path, kisame and water main with shark bomb neurotoixin. The other being an earth main with gakido and the reviving pain.

With great war kankuro, damage output is much greater. Kankuro is ok, but the ignite from the war version is so much better. Anyways thats my new rank 12 survival Ormund, former rank 4 in power in our server. He just quit but my former stall team finishes him off with low damage. I had to wait until his main finishes kohona hurricane before placing clones. Other then that its self explanitory.

Nara, why does the reset thing only work on newer players? I'm one plot instance from level 73 and so I'm gonna reset tonight and clear it tomorrow.
Otherwise, thanks for the tips; I typically just use whatever ninja work across from the enemy team without regard to combos or a specific type of team, so now I'll make an offense/defense/control/etc. team. Jajaja~ -
