Level freezing isn't worth it.

1. You get power from awakening, leveling up, and cultivating ninjas. By level freezing, you lose out on power long run.

2. You don't have access to parts of the game by level freezing, such as team slots, power interfaces, etc., depending where you "freeze".

3. Common argument is it helps with Sage World Battlefields, but it doesn't. Sage is populated on more factors than simply level, so you don't avoid "higher power" players by level freezing.

4. Another argument is that you can avoid the 15 level gap for plunder, but that great a level gap will lead to loss in point 1 and 2.
