Hello,
I'm afraid I don't really understand your question. You were given the genin rewards because you were a genin last season. Your rank then resets with the new season if you obtained the maximum rank before, or remains the same if you have not yet done so.
Does that help, or perhaps you can clarify your question for me?

I was a genin for a long time, rewards as you can see are not for genin at all
