My thoughts:
One of the first sources of acupuncture you will come across. Acupuncture is a great debuff, however it's usefullness depends on your predicting/reacting skills as you need to aim at an enemy launching a mystery in order or at the enemy that wants to lauch it in the next round if you are certain that the debuff can't be removed (you're not against healers that can remove it or Fire main) to get the most value out of it. Neji is somewhat tankish too which is a good thing because if he is to block a mystery he should be standing in the front line (ninjas that get the first attack get the first prompt too) however don't expect Hinata levels of endurance. He is also a great help for Strong Approaching.

Please leave a comment with your thoughts about the ninja.

one of my fave ninja in the game. a little squishy but i've really improved mine so he's not so bad, can deflect a ton of attacks and if he just takes care of a few enemies (and absorb a lot of their ults) before he drops i c*ways pull thru. but i've also won a lot of fights on acupuncture alone. great for ninja exams and SAs.

i like gnw neji's acupuncture on chase but i dislike the 3 cd. i don't use him a ton, except on survival, he's great there. i'd probably use him more if i wasn't already so fond of his reg version. ia that he seems squishy tho.

I personally like him a lot because of the acupuncture as well. Maybe it's just me, but my Neji is actually an okay tank - he's my current front-liner.

I was just sad to see the loss of repulse on his mystery when upgrading to 2 star.

XD that Shippuden pic

I use GNW Neji in Kyuubi for the high combo but normal Neji everywhere else - in SA, Ninja Exam level 80 which I just completed, yay me - why? Because of the cooldown.

Sometimes I use him for interrupt, other times just for damage.

I really prefer using normal Neji for his 2 round cooldown mystery as well as more tankiness/attack because you can bump him up all the way to 5 stars.

GNW Neji is awesome for combos, but I wouldn't use him for tanking purposes.

I currently have my Neji's mood set for HP and negative NIN.

My Neji is from Shippuden, not the ninja war one. He's really great though.
My main team is:
Neji Hyuga (Shippuden.) [Top right of the lineup.]
Hinata Hyuga (Shippuden.) [Bottom right of the lineup.]
Main character [Top left of the lineup.]
Sakura Haruno. [Bottom left of the lineup.)

I keep Neji and Hinata at the front because if they get attacked then they can deflect it. (Hinata: Protective Eight Trigrams and Neji: Eight Trigrams Palm Rotation.)
My character and Sakura stay at the back because they are pretty weak, as they are both water-style and Hinata is Lightning while Neji is Earth. Sakura's only on the team because of her healing abilities, otherwise I'd use my Shikamaru (Shippuden) or Kimimaro.
