Naruto was essentially a demon in human form, carrying a potential suicide bomb that could detonate at any moment. Understandably, the villagers feared and despised him rather than celebrating their supposed "Naruto-sama." In reality, demons don't deserve love or care; they are weapons, and that is what Naruto was intended to be - a brainwashed and emotionless weapon, controlled by Danzo to serve the village's interests exclusively.

It's even more infuriating when people criticize Hiruzen for supposedly failing to care for Naruto. In reality, Hiruzen provided Naruto with an apartment, food, and all basic necessities, placing him in a better position than at least 90% of the people in Suna. It's unreasonable to expect Hiruzen to have treated Naruto like a prince, considering the situation.

Furthermore, I find it frustrating when people criticize Hiruzen for making a promise to Kushina. That promise was made during a life-or-death battle; it's unreasonable to expect him to reject a dying woman's request.

So, in short, that's my rant.
