For a little backstory, I started this game back in 2016 and was *ed for better half of the next 4 years, then playing sporadically for a month at a time the next 2. I loved this game. From it's beautiful animations that managed to even run on my potato school laptop, to the w*y Sasuke 3 star voice lines that I always yelled along to as a kid with EVERY. SINGLE. CHASE. But after coming back to the game for what feels like the a thousandth time on a fresh account, I've begun to feel like giving new players powerful ninja in the form of Hashirama and Madara only SEVEN days after starting has ruined teambuilding at the early levels forever.

Both Hashirama and Madara boast insanely powerful skillsets which quickly invalidate any of the story ninja you receive from the early story and treasures. Competitively speaking, why ever use the Ino-Shika-Cho or a team 7 lineup when you can absolutely obliterate any story mission with Hashirama and Madara? Why even bother try to level up any of the main cast characters if Madara and Hashirama SOLO everyone early on? Back in the day, my friends and I got KAKASHI as our day 7 reward, and we had a BLAST watching his multiple animations and abilities. Although he was most definitely strong, he wasn't always the most optimal ninja and therefore could be swapped out for other characters, encouraging both pulling from the early treasures, as well as encouraging unique team building. But now, with the game giving you two broken ninja, there's never a need to pull from the early treasures and instead just hold onto your seal scroll's until you unlock the Kage treasure, and until then, your team will remain the same. This drives away a lot of new players as early levels feel really easy, resulting in a lack of satisfaction in beating harder levels and therefore a lower desire to actually grind out the game and get better. Early levels like the Zabuza fight were designed with the thought that your lineup would be looking something along the lines of MC and team 7, not your MC, 4 star GNW Choji, Naruto Jesus himself and his equally powerful brother in arms!
