it is the players that are toxic not the meta. Do not get me wrong oasis have messed up every single thing at every single step of these 6 years and they and their goon squad play a huge role in ruining this game, but the toxicity comes from the players not the characters. It is the most boring "community" that has ever existed, bar none. Everyone stacks pos 1 because everyone else does, everyone runs shisui or madara because everyone else does, if more people cared about fun and less about an unmonitored, unrewarded and 100% meaningless ratio the game would be so much better. It is a collection game yet nobody collects and nobody experiments with 99% of the available characters. If this community moved to some kind of pokemon game everyone would run mewtwo and not even capture any others on the way.

Some characters are cheap, shisui is unbeatable unless you have about a 2 mil power advantage and madara etr has every skill in the game leech,immunity,suppress immunity,control, chakra drain, cd reduction, strong poison, fear, super armour, scaling........ some characters are cheap but nobody is forcing us to use them, some incredibly boring people set a trend for stacking pos 1 and ruined the game for everyone to join after, china isnt like this, other regions also stack but nowhere near the extent of UK. You can( and should) hold oasis responsible for many things, but them giving us the tools isnt toxic, the most ego fragile, crybaby, boring community on the entire globe are responsible for meta removing the character collecting and team building components out of a collection based game.

Also to the people saying "give old servers madara etr" they literally have, he was in almost every event in every cycle for about a year straight, without spending a single coupon, just by logging consistently old servers can very easily get him if they too want to lobotomize themselves and remove any and all gameplay from a video game
