Mystery: Ground Insect
Cause Ninjutsu damage to the selected enemy and Knockdown. Meanwhile, recover a certain percentage of your own life.

Standard: Beetle Sphere
Attacks the front enemy and has a chance of Triple Combo and interrupting the enemy's skill.
Passive: Parasitic Hilt
The lower the enemy's chakra, the higher the Ninjutsu attack and resistance of Shino.
Passive: Insect Body
Shino increases his defense and draws 10 chakra points from the attacker, when receiving Taijutsu attack.

Cause Ninjutsu damage to up to 4 enemy bodies and Knockdown to the selected enemy. Meanwhile, absorb up to 60 chakra points from the enemy.
CD: 3 rounds
Battlefield CD: 1 round
Chakra use: 40
Additional status: Knockdown

My thoughts:
I haven't used Shino much but if you really want to run him you should do so with other chakra absorb ninjas like Kisame and/or chakra adding ninjas (Asuma, Jigokudo, Orochimaru, Kisame) and/or ninjas that get stronger the higher the chakra (Shikamaru, Asuma, Kisame) - notice a pattern? I don't think running those teams pays out tho, but if you found success with it i'd love to be proven wrong.
