I understand the animation excuse however, I'm afraid I cannot agree with you or give you the benefit of the doubt for irremovable debuff working off of control stat as every other irremovable debuff (stated in skill desc
ription) cannot be resisted, e.g. (Indra), as you can see, his skills state the exact same as shisui's Y mystery, also what about targetting on auto clearly being incorrect?

unfortunately (fortunately for those who dont have shisui full bt), irremovable acupuncture CAN BE RESISTED (ie. control failed)
which depends on your control rate vs your opponent control rate & luck element (yeah.. its true.. u can have 90% control rate but still cannot cause debuff, or 25% control rate but can apply debuff few times in a row)
once the acupuncture applied (control succeed), then it will become irremovable
u can refer to Yujin Takara guide regarding this matter, control rate formula, etc
