Chase dodge is too powerful

We have alot of great lineup potentials through chase! but chase dodge being too powerful you can't really tell. My main beef is that when 1 ninja chase dodges a multiple unit chase the whole combo gets cancelled pls oasis save us (and stop saving those pesky dodge chasers, uknow who i'm talking about)

I would complain, but there seems to be a cap on those chases. My sosp, after a few chases, simply stops evading and just takes chase after chase, so I think it's just about constantly launching chase attacks at these evaders.

yea it is kinda irritating. but i usually aim at the main.... and stun or take out kamui that chase b..tch until that guy is alone in battle whole team can gank on him/her.

This is a huge agree from me as well. I've recently been making some fun chase related teams using Swimsuit Anko, and it's aggravating for multiple target chases to get canceled by just one person on their team with a chase dodge. The character in question can still dodge the attack, but don't cancel the chase sequence entirely. The chase sequence should only be canceled if a single target chase sequence is used. If feels a little too strong for combo chases especially considering there is little counter play for dodges outside of unmissable damage.

Chance evasion (like soap Naruto's) are affected by def/res, so if the opponent scales def/res (e.g. edo Madara) and/or your Naruto get descaled on def/res (e.g. christmas Kushina) than the evasion chance can get significantly lower.

It'd be a little too strong for combo chases to not get cancelled by dodge. Arena is already big on combo chases, if there'd be no stopping it all team would be just combo chases stacked, and it'd be boring as hell.

I suppose there’s some truth in that. It was just refreshing using some creative off meta pick and it *s only to be countered so unintuitively. The cons outweigh the pros I suppose. Running into meta lineup after meta line up is repetitive and that’s what’s truly boring. At least I’m trying to have fun/innovate, but if it works it works I guess.

Unfortunately I can't point you to any source for this, it's one of those mechanics of the game that not many ppl know. You can try and test it yourself with proper ninjas.

One of the reasons why GNW Orochi combo blitz teams work so well in arena, because his def/res buff lowers the chance of chases to get evaded.

Also you might've noticed that it's much easier to get a chase on lower power players' Narutos (or other chance evasion nins), it's because their def/res stats are significantly worse.

I never saw it as a problem really. most of the damage is gonna come from mystery anyway. chase would be nice to do, but if it gets dodged all the time. its no big deal in my opinion.

Its a huge problem indeed, just imagine you have Indra who gives the whole enemy team irremovable ignition with his chase but the chase before his gets dodged, all goes to waste... Its just things like those that are really dumb imo

I see you point. Though at the same time. I also look for ninja that can apply those debuffs with their mysteries as well. A good amount of those sadly you have to break your bank to get the ninja.

If there is a need to nerf these dodgers, dont you think they would have done it long ago, some time after bt debut? Every ninja has own up and down in abilities. Sorry but 'bias'ing Indra isn't the answer. You want irremovable ignition so bad, try consider Konan swimsuit.

No I dont think they wouldve done it a long time ago, thats like me saying ''The whole NO community and their grandmas wanted basic protection vials in groceries but they still havent implemented them''. Its just pure laziness from their side and nothing else, theres so many ninjas with insane dodge chances nowadays that they might aswell even remove the chases if they are gonna interrupt combos like this, and no Im not biasing Indra, I can name you 20 ninjas on top of my head that get their relevance ruined by these dodges, Indra was only an example since his chase is more powerfull than the rest of them.

You totally miss the point. Like a whole lot of miss. First, we all here not talking about grandmas and protections vials. Lack of respect from you there. Insulting certain group doesn't make you right or even slightly change the situation. Keep it low. Second, there is totally no need to remove chases just because ninjas(just a little some not all btw) dodges it. That's what make you 'bias'ing. It hurts you a lot because units such as Naruto6P etc are being used by majority, despite the fact theses units are way lower tier in abilities than the metas. You just want your dream team to be on the comfortable side of superiority, no challenge, no creativity. Remove chases because dodgers? Let's bring up something way older than this, remove lifesteal, healing and regen because of ignition(not even irremovable). See how unrelevant your argument now...

So reduce their ability to dodge chase, use undodgeable chases, or both.Or attack with high damage mysteries and/or that spread those debuffs you want. Or use a character than can remove other ninjas from the battle field. Or use remove immunity and control to lock down the ninja from at least attacking you. Etc. There are lots of options. It's called adapting and overcoming.

The game changed from relying solely on long chases a long time ago. If you can get them, great. But you cannot rely solely on having a full chase every time. In your example, imagine if I get irremovable paralysis on your Indra before you attack. You aren't going to chase anyways. So what's your battle plan going to be? How will you adapt?
