Well its a mixed bag, but a friend of mine has played a bit on the china server, and he has a few notes...some that have been echoed on these forums.

Lightning: Hes great early game, but when 60 rolls around you SHOULD swap out...he falls off and hard.

Earth: Hes not to hot on our servers right now because a lot of the higher end earth shinobi haven't been released yet, so his team setups are kinda in limbo right now. But remember using the earth main means you dont need to get a tank, and you only need to get dps/support nins and that can be worth its weight in gold.

Wind: Again, the later the game goes the better she gets. You can easily make her a full support main, and again free up formation stuff later in the game, not to mention the dreaded " Empress" Combo which c*l be gotten in stores, and at this stage of the game can be hilariously good.

Fire: Hes just all around good, and anyone that can neuter healing will never be " Weak". Sadly he never played much fire, so he hasnt much tips here.

Water: Late..late bloomer. Id REALLY suggest playing a diff class to 60 than swapping, because the water grind can be real.

EDIT: Oh nvm. Google no jutsu is op :) I see it's Kurenai, Hinata, Karin.

If you're looking for decent combos, but mainly high damage, try Midnight Blade.

If you are looking for Extremely Specific combos, try Wind Main (although I wouldn't recommend in any case she's pretty bad)

If you're looking for pure power with a few combos, try Earth Main.

If you're looking for status combos which take control of your enemy with pure strategy try the water main (I would recommend water main for people experienced with the game and not new people)

If you're looking for some well-balanced combos try the Fire Main

Hope I helped! :D:D

Well Said Critix! -- The only thing i can say, is that later on in the game. Earth and Water become the 'end' game. As in .. the level 100 era.

Right now, i would recommend Fire. (I'm a water main, i love water, but i'm focusing for later end game)

Fire is by far the strongest at this stage of the game ESP if you got high initiative. Lightning was essentially overpowered up to lv55 but isn't any more.

I feel the basic Empress team for Wind main is a little outdated and easily countered. However, it's made up of "free" ninjas and can thus be easily brought to 5-star.

There are other combos out there as well which may be effective (although the current roster of good female nins are a bit lacking and require some monies).

If you like shields, I've seen a PB Sasuke, Konan, Wind team that gives about 6k+ shield (plus buffs from Flower guard, PB Sasuke's passive and Konan's passive) - Wind main, Konan, Chikushodo and PB Sasuke.

Once Hinata (Road to Nin ver.) arrives at our shores, she'll be a mini Empress within an Empress/Flower guard team ^ ^

For switching main characters, you'd have to have min. lv60 I believe. Then click on the "character" icon. Immediately under your character's large portrait is a *on "change", click on that and you'll see a list of slots (like the picture shown earlier on pg2). Empty slots means that you've not unlocked that character.

To unlock a main: simply select them when clicking on a blank slot, you'll enter an easy match with them and after the victory, the main is available for selection. You can open more slots, to a max of 5 total by lv78. (Max slots are gated by level).

Once you change to a new main, a timer will start for 24hrs, during this time if you wish to change again, it's 100ingots. Once the 24hr timer expires, changing main is free again. And so the cycle continues...

I currently use Breeze Dancer. Even though it's hard to form a team (I've done so painstakingly), the great thing about her is that her attack, that can range from 300-1200, costs no chakra, unlike the rest. Though I have not used him, Scarlet Blaze is pretty high damage too. In actuality, Midnight Blade is powerful, as is Crimson Fist. The Azure Fang's shark bomb and poison spread is great too, although it costs 20 chakra.
