Hello,
This is an unfortunate bug that has not yet been fixed. Any time you enter into the Infinite Illusion game mode, it causes your Assist link interface to glitch, making it inaccessible. At present, the only workaround is to refresh the game. We recommend not playing infinite illusion unless you are in a place where you can safely refresh.
