Normally I would close this thread and have you all go to a more appropriate forum for the discussion, but in light of this being a fairly sensitive topic, I'll keep it open this time to allow discussion, on the caveat that you all keep it civil, and I do mean that. expression of ideas, issues, complaints, and concerns is fine, but attacking people or their character is not. Actually, Nobu was fairly transparent with the decision making process for this most recent event for those that asked him, I believe. I wasn't around for the whole conversation, but I know he talked about it with those that asked.

Alright, we've definitely strayed past and into the territory of harsh words. I will be closing this thread down since, as discussed previously, it is off-topic for this subforum. If you would like to discuss this further but without the poor language/anger and instead with a greater degree of civility, you could consider reopening a new thread in a subforum more suited to the topic.

For what it's worth, we do genuinely commiserate with the player base that not everyone was able to win or receive rewards from the competition, and understand that it can be frustrating that a discord admin was allowed to participate in and win the forum competitions. For what it is worth, these positions are separate, and forum moderators like tylermotoki and myself are not permitted to participate in and win the forum competitions, though it is understandable that the nuance there between the two categories of admin staff can be very frustrating for many people due to the different spheres of influence that we moderate. For this we apologize. :(

Hopefully moving forward there will be many more events for everyone to participate in that will have many more prizes for everyone to enjoy!
