You probably haven't done any of the new events at all because they are actually incredibly cost efficient and good. Nearly everyone in the two servers I play are finally happy with events, not just paying players. Plus we haven't even seen 2 of the new features in the update: the new SA fight and all that comes with that, as well as the mon/fri exclusive reward feature. Unless you're just the kind of guy who gets his rocks off at complaining you ought to play the game more than spending time whining in forums and see the benefit to these events for yourself.
