Anyone else think that a gifting option would be cool? I mean like someone could buy some ingots for the F2P friends, or a group can try to boost some of their F2P players by throwing some ingots their way. I know they just came out with a statement saying that doing this is bannable, but why not add it as an option in the game?

I'm confident that they're not going to add it because they want money and they can't have that when you're gifting stuff for players that don't want to pay.

Or not even going that far. How about gifting little things? Like materials to boost your equipment. I can't even count the number of times I either ran out of stamina and only needed 1 or 2 more materials or I wasn't lucky and didn't get that scroll from Ninja Exam. And I'm not saying gift a kage scroll to a person who can't use it.

Bro, the money is being spent either way, it's just who gets the use of it. You or the f2p you're helping out.

^ That is where I was coming from. This game does have a lot of tactics that make paying players more powerful. Some players just can't afford to pay to keep up. I think gifting will help SOME F2P players.

I believe this was suggested by someone else and it was suggested to the management before.

Definitely would like to see it, but a little cautious of how it could be abused. Like they would have to make sure gifting doesn't count as "ingot consumption" like for those consumption events, otherwise people would just gift those ingots around and claim free rewards.

Welp if it was a ingot consumption event then they would have to use those ingots so there wont be any way to abuse it By switiching around or topping up

But they would want to double the profits, I'm sure they don't want gifting so that both players pay one way or the other for again, more money.

A great idea. Both positive and negative.
It would be great to gift your friends items.
But alot of people could be persuaded or tricked into doing those kind of things.
In my opinion i'd love if you could attach items to messages.

I was assuming like it was in other games where gifting was you buy ingots, click on the receiving player, and there would be a "gift" feature which would consume your ingots.

If it was just opening a window in which you top up for the person, then I'd worry about it affecting a top-up event. The receiving player shouldn't be receiving rewards for getting gifted. I'm just mentioning that adding in a system, we have to look for possible flaws.

This is assuming you're not paying for yourself anymore. If someone is literally paying 2, 3 , or more times as much, that's revenue that the company never would have captured since those people would never have paid anyway. Not sure why you think the company would lose revenue.
