Hello, this is intentional. I am not sure the precise reason behind why they chose to do so, but its intentional that characters heal even when attacking a character immune to the damage being dealt. The healing amount is ba
sed upon the amount the character would have dealt if the opposing character was not immune by it. -

i thought the same but this makes no sense Tyler if the game is going on damage that would have happened why does madara not trigger his cooldown or increase passive as it states any unit that does dmg to it for the first hit should be affected
This is where it becomes interesting. In order for ETR Madara's cooldown passive to activate, he has to be dealt damage, damage he is immune to is not included in this. So, Naruto's healing is ba
sed upon the intended damage to be dealt, and ETR Madara's passive requires damage to be taken, not just any form of damage to be dealt. -
