on the topic of gengetsu, i was running gengetsu me
ta before gengetsu me ta was a thing 
at some point i was laughing that im the only one "in the game" to have gengetsu 3 stars (long before any exchange shop when he was only on treasure and random missions or other stuff), in special at some point with bt kinkaku and his 60% combo buff to edo and 80% res shield lol guaranteed 1st round myst -

With a proper team Gengetsu can be better p1 than Naruto but in any case that'll be up to us players, Gengetsu's BT hasn't been designed to counter Naruto.
I don't know about Edo Madara & Naruto together, i've seen Edo Madara work in chinese servers and most people turned to other support units instead keeping Naruto because all Naruto was doing was healing the enemy player's pos1 Edo Madara.
With the upcoming anniversary i'm gonna go ahead and predict lots of Edo Madara-Karin Taka/Tsunade Byakugou lineups. Surely Creation Kakuzu too.
I can't tell about the third ninja, it'll depend on what each of us prefer to do. We can make our pos1 stronger, we can go for a second supp, we can go for the cc ninja.. it'll depend on our prefered playstyle.

Please please pleaseeee let that mean that edo swordsmen will also get breakthroughs. Let all those treasure ninja return to the game!

i dont think whale vs f2p should be a debate in terms of ninjas and whatnot, whales can beat a f2p with standard team 7... what you guys should focus on are medium spenders, those are the ones that you can beat as f2p if you are smart
as for new vs old players... the fundamental problem is that new players skip 3/4 of the game and get bored quickly... gets hashi at start, gets 1-2 free decent ninjas, runs thru most content without even thinking about strategy or what they do (since free ninjas better then what they can get at that point) then they manage to do a fuku and get naruto 4stars and bam, thats all the lifespan of a new player, gets bored starts on new server repeat, lol
