When he is placed in the back row (which is where all mains belong in my opinion), even if his attack stat is doubled, he isn't gonna cause a lot of damage. I just want him to survive longer and support my pos 1 ninja.

At the beginning of round 1 and 5, summons a [Water Clone] with 60% of Azure Fang's HP stat with [Healing Jutsu] as its Standard Attack. Whenever the [Water Clone] is defeated, recovers 30 Chakra.

That is the only strategy for earth. Anything else and the lineup is handicapped.

So not shields, eh? Then you're using control/debuff/interrupt? Or is it clear/heals? Or is it poison/ignition support? Or is it damage dealer? Or maybe it's the tank skills? With Naruto's standards, Earth's tanks skills do nothing, he will die before he stacks enough. His prefight shields will help your support much more than super armor and extra def/res.

Damage dealer is acceptable with 9tails.

Again, if you are running anything other than full support for your P1 then your lineup is severely handicapped.
