Hello,
This is the first I've heard of someone having this issue with the new client. This is supposedly fixed with the new client. I will kick this up to support and see if they have any information. Meanwhile, a few questions for you that will help with the issue:
What physical region are you playing in, and what game region are you playing in?
Do you have a strong internet connection?If you're comfortable sharing, what country are you in?

I have gotten black screens cus of kakuzu AC mystery skill tons of times, that bug been there for months :/ like how itachi and itachi kimono's mystery bug was......Now** regarding the Itachi part mostly no black screens from Itachi kimono but it still happens from time to time....pls forward these 2 bugs to devs, thanks.
edit: after seeing your 2nd reply, I switched back to the old mini client, and no other apps but still kakuzu AC mainly when used against me i get frequent black screens (sometimes not but still there) i mean still the same nothing changed.

I have a question for you and anyone else in this thread reporting the issue - does it only happen when Kakuzu is used against you or also when you use him on someone else? I don't have him but I might get him in the future so I'd like to know. I have friends who have Kimono Itachi and they say that when they use him, sometimes the game crashes. I've fought both Kakuzu and Itachi many times and their mysteries have never crashed my game (Kakuzu's sometimes causes a little lag during the animation but otherwise fine) so I want to know if there's a difference between using the ninja and having them used on you by the opponent when it comes to if they crash the game.
well i am not the only one at my group of merged servers who experiences that, and my pc is very strong for this game and i don't experience any lag normally. (saying in general)
regarding ur question @Korren;
1. most of the times that kakuzu AC blackscreens u while using mini client are when used against u, but fewer times (or even much fewer, so don't worry about buying him) happen when u are the user or team mate of the user.
2.a. akatsuki itachi was frequent before the fix, now it's rarer
2.b. itachi kimono, it happens alot whether u are the user or the one being used against
also before some one says it's a performance just for us, why it's just these 2 (kakuzu AC and itachi kimono), and itachi was commonly known for that bug so it's not just us...... ^_^

Thanks for your reply. So it seems like it's both cases, but leaning a bit more towards having these mysteries used on you causing the crash since you said Kakuzu it's mostly that and Itachi it's like 50/50.
I really don't know what's up with it in terms of computer specs. You mention your computer is pretty good for gaming. Like I said I can't recall any instance of their mysteries blackscreeining my game and I definitely don't have a gaming optimized computer at all, I play on an old MacBook pro partitioned to run Windows. The only thing upgraded on it is the RAM, from the stock 4gb to 16gb. I'm sure most players have better hardware than me and still experience these issues, makes me wonder what's up with the games optimization or whatever.

akatsuki itachi was like that, but they fixed it and it was announced, afterwards it's very rare for him to crash the game. itachi kimono i guess (not sure) it was said to be fixed but it wasn't, it just happens fewer times after it was almost always and but it's just these 2 (itachi kimono and kakuzu AC), sometimes give black screens preceded by a sudden game freeze, but kakuzu is less than itachi (doesn't happen each time you face him and much lesser times when you are the user).
I did flush dns , cache , uninstalled and reinstalled mini client and tried the latest and older versions, but still just these 2 ninja. hope they check and fix them.
