Protections are always needed, you need so many of them for multiple skill trial units (look at new servers as well) that removing them is very bad idea. I agree about vials tho, you need much less vials than protections to fully break ninja so changing those from time to time would be nice. Personally I would love mood scrolls for few rotations to be back in plates.
