Those are the ninjas tag ,

They do not provide any bonuses by themselves but certains skill or passive may gets additional benefit against wearer of specific tags .

For instance Mei terumi get 30% extra damage against all wearer of the man tag ( so all male ninjas basically) .

On the pic the tags are : male,Konoha and swordman.so this a lightning main right ?

In your case Mifune give a % tai increase to all swordmen and you can get the full benefit of firecracker naruto ( forget the actual name sry) which give a second standard attack and a crit chance increase to only the Konoha ninjas (good example of tag only bonus).

You see, you only told me about the lightning. But there are a lot of them and there is no description of what buffs and debuffs have certain parameters

I don't mean just this character, this is a good example of what I mean )))

There are no regular buffs for attributes. These attributes are only keywords for other characters' buffs. For instance Iruka buffs Konoha's ninjas, and Konan buffs akatsuki. So you can check whether other characters will receive these buffs just checking their attributes, without google or knowledge of naruto franchise. There are also some other more deep meanings, like whether Minato is a sage or not from the game's standpoint. Edo is obviously a sage, but is jonin version a sage too? So instead of guessing or trying, you just check character's attribute and learn this info right-away.

I took Naruto [Ramen] as an example :

His mystery is as follow :

"Remove all buff of a selected ally, and allow them to attack an additional time for 2 turns.When the target is a konoha ninja,they receive a 30% increase to critical rate ."

The 30 % increase will only apply if the target is a konoha ninja (in other word if he has the Konoha ninja Tag).

If you use this mystery on a non konoha ninja ,let's say Gaara , he will have an additional standard but won't get the 30% crit rate increase .

As the previous poster said if you don't know a lot about Naruto you can just look at the tag (and even sort ninjas by tags) to know whether or not this ninja may benefit from the full effect of Naruto [Ramen] mystery.

There are a lot of ninjas having those sorts of "special effect" and building a team may require to look at those to fully benefit .

Some example :

-The pain Ninjas have passives boosting Rinnegan tagged ninjas (they work well together )

-Kakashi [Susanoo] make Konoha ninjas not miss their mysteries (understand that even a dodge ninja will get it by their mysteries instead of dodging them (if their dodge is up of course)

-Kimimaro Halloween increase his defence and attack every time he get hit , Reincarnated ninjas in the same team as Kimimaro (assuming he is still alive howeve )will get their attacks up as well (when kimi gets hits edo minato gains 1% attack for instance )

Those aren't buffs, they are just what attribute a ninja is tagged as. If you hover your mouse over them, it will display what it is called if you are unsure. An example would be Lightning Mains, Root of Warrior which affects 3 sword users. So Lightning Main and 2 other random sword users in your team will gain the buff of immunity and +100% resistance. When you are in the Ninja tab, either Team or Train, you can sort by those attributes to find ninjas that would be affected by certain skills. So if you sort by swordsman, it will show you all ninjas that would be buffed by that skill. Look at a ninja's skills, then go find other ninjas that will pair well with those skills.
