Not inherently, no. BUT you can get xp from arena if another missions asks you to participate or win a certain number of arena matches. One of the daily missions is to participate in the arena 3 times. And some Bounty missions will also offer you xp for participating in the arena. On it's own though you only get tokens for the arena store.
