So.. is a 3-Star 10-tail Madara good for anything? I just don't see how i can get him to 4-stars.

Nope, 3 start is pretty much worthless as a position 1 ninja and as a support, there are better options. Just have a nice transformation and the power of getting another ninja to Full cultivation, level 105, red +6.
