LOL - what a ridiculous response. I don't suppose you also know that it takes 5 medium threads per upgrade and it probably takes at least 50 upgrades? That's 250 medium threads. In other words, darn close to 2000 coupons / ingots.

So could you review your response and let us know when we can actually get medium threads? This is just for rank 4 too! As a Jonin medal holder, I am capable of saving coupons until I can outright buy it. The free players though, they have access to everything they need to beat Hanzo hard. It just takes savvy strategy. To add a pay wall to something that was skill based just removes all of the value from the event.

There is nothing wrong with my answer. He/She asked if there is any way how to get medium threads. There is, you can buy them from the shop. At the moment there is no other way how to obtain them. Not that long ago you could buy "Mission gift box" as part of Missions General Mobilization event. It contained medium threads.

Yes, I get all of that. My point is that there needs to be an update, sooner rather than later, that addresses this. Hanzo isn't exactly the mind *ingly difficult event it used to be.

People should not hit a pay wall like this. If you want to split semantics, the OP asked if he/she could GET medium threads - not buy.

thing is right now the only people who hit that pay wall r the people who paid for common threads or got REALLY lucky.

I didnt buy any threads and have been doing hard mode since week 2, im still rank 2.

And this isnt much different from medium refinement runes tbh.

Also if you really want to split semantics, you GET them by spending coupons/ingots in the shop when you you click the *on that says buy in the Medium thread pane

There's a difference between asking for an answer, and demanding one. Daiske's response was perfectly honest and fine. You aren't entitled to a different response just because you bought a medal - and there are plenty of other ways to raise BP aside from battle armor.

There's also talk about SA changing to feature Killer Bee sometime in the future (this is just a rumor I've heard, so may or may not happen) so perhaps the rewards will change, and other events might give us threads again too. In the meantime, you can either be patient or buy the threads with your coupons/ingots if you're so desperate to stay ahead of the free players.

Yeah, I got fairly lucky I suppose. I would have farmed what I needed next week regardless though.

I'm not on an old server, I had to wait weeks to level up to 65 to even do hard mode. That shouldn't have been the case for servers that had 2-3 weeks or more on me. I can't be a rarity with rank 3 armor. I've been teaching my F2P members of my group how to clear it and even they are getting close!

You'd have to be pretty dense that the OP was looking for a cash way of getting medium threads. You simply need too many for the shop to be a reasonable solution for anyone except the heaviest casher (which I'm not and I'm willing to bet the OP isn't either).
EDIT:

@Sabaku - with how the scaling works (you can get medium/elite clothes from Hanzo), medium threads become such a huge bottleneck that rank 4 armor would be hopeless to all but Jonin users (or a heavy casher that decides against Jonin for some reason). Regardless, my posts probably come off harsher here than I mean because I have a real problem with how Daiske acts as a moderator. No use going into here.

If they change it, great. I look forward a new challenge. As for my entitled tone, I feel like I earned it. I'm not the strongest in my server (far from that), but I am the best at Hanzo by a significant portion. Of course I think that entitles me the opportunity to jump ahead in power!
