The danger with aiming for the higher chain of combos, means that if you lose 1 character, your formation may fall apart completely leaving you with no damage left; for example, if you lost your Kakashi, since he's also quite squishy. I've changed my formation to this now, so Tobi gets move 1 position and GNW Neji doesn't die from his taunt (which isn't that great right now since he's too weak). This way, if Kakashi dies, Tobi still does absurd amounts of damage and I'll also have Neji and my Fire main for controlling.

Just keep in mind, the highest combo, doesn't mean its the best and most efficient one (as I told my friend who came up with a 13-chase combo with Ten Puppet Chiyo, which does no damage, wastes time, and is interrupted the moment one of his character dies).
Edit: Also, congrats on your Demon Fox :P. (I secretly hate you, because everyone has gotten the Demon Fox except me, who actually wants to use it. :'()

I manage to build sth like this, and what I find, is that Hinata does nothing. I try my best to build up as good team as possible, with Acupuncture in it, but the amount of time, and the amount of failures is overwhelming me :/

What am I doing wrong?

Sorry for taking your time, but I really appreciate any hint I can get.

Hinata should be chasing your repulse no? However, that build would not utilize Demon Fox. I would move Hinata to the center, and replace Kankuro with Sasuke. Sasuke is there to just follow up with chases, his mystery isn't really important. Round 1, use either Hinata's mystery if she is going to get attacked, or use Sasuke for the barrier and possibly combo starter. Use the Fire main seal near the end to limit their options. Round 2, you should have an idea of what they're going to do. Initiate with Tobi's mystery (you'll see how much damage it does as well as acupuncture). Now if you're Tobi position 1 doesn't have as high initiative as their position 1, then you should just seal their ninja near the end of round 1. This way you get the combo off guaranteed. The lineup lacks AOE and is vulnerable to Earth mains however. Try it out on a friend or during *s (but increase your power first before you expect results).

Edit: You won't be able to see the full combo as Tobi's mystery is nerfed on the Chinese website, but try it out in-game. Also, you will want to use the Snake summon for this lineup. (If you want to utilize the Demon Fox, I would use the lineup I previously mentioned for the clone to start a combo, but you don't need it if you want to use Hinata).

You'll get to use better combos as more characters are added. He's quite amazing in Ranked, but 2-star ninjas are pretty much not worth adding in to your main team (the only exception for me is GNW Neji because of the utility he adds; able to acupuncture with his chase). You could however, run him in Great Ninja War as he will more likely be able to use his mystery if you have teammates to control.

Yes, Celestial Prison, Genjutsu Mirror, and Oboro Clone (the point of Demon Fox, is so that the clone can initiate a combo for you). Sealing jutsu adds more control to your team, which is what I prefer, but in Ranked I would have the same team, but with Dragon Flame as the talent.
