So, the matchmaking algorithm fro this event supposed to be like this: If you lose, you face a lower level opponent next match and vice versa plus there is also the thing where you face people with similar W/L history in the event. How is it that I can't find an opponent for 5 minutes and the only opponents I get are stronger than me. Oh, I think I forgot to mention; I have 230k bp at 82 level. It's not high or anything. The problem is if I win a match the person I face next match is 95 level with 320k bp. If I lose a match, next person I face is 80 level with 290k bp! How is there nobody, absolutely nobody doing this event that I have to reset my queue 5 times, meaning I wait 5 minutes for just one match which is very time consuming, AND how is there no one weaker than me around my level? I face people weaker than me in SWB. Is there some sort of algorithm such as "yeah, you lose" ? I tried so hard to use aggressive words but the game matchmaking is so bad, I really wanna meet the developer team and ask them "What were you thinking?!" It's not just the Matsuri, there are many problems with SWB, Arena Ranked Battles, 3v3 matches etc. People are spending a lot of money on this game and all the community gets is some lousy development. There is absolutely no attempt to better your game and everyone sees that. You should be ashamed.
Hello,
The matchmaking algorithm is a little more complicated than that.
The system keeps track of your win/loss ratio and uses it to modify your effective level, which is what it uses to compare you to other players' effective levels. This is why you can match players of a higher level than you when you are "facing a weaker opponent" - this means that they have had a streak of losses that has caused their modified effective level to drop to lower than your modified effective level.
Of course, none of this applies if you go over one minute. If you go over the one minute threshold, the gating procedure is discarded, and you match with the next person in the queue that is also over one minute, completely regardless of your wins and losses. Please be warned that you do this at your own risk! Weaker players are very likely to come across a stronger player when doing this!
As for "If I lose a match, next person I face is 80 level with 290k bp!" this is just bad luck. Some players level freeze, and if they do so, they have higher-than-average power for their level, so they will have the advantage in PVP competitions like this that are ba
As for, "How is there nobody, absolutely nobody doing this event that I have to
reset my queue 5 times, meaning I wait 5 minutes for just one match
which is very time consuming," This is very likely becuase of your relatively low level. There are not as many players that play below your level, so when the system attempts to search for players below your level, if there are no such players, you simply will not get a match.
>>> I face people weaker than me in SWB.
Again, the system is ba
I hope this helps clear up much of the misunderstanding around this event! Have a great day!
I'm sorry but it seems you haven't really stated anything I didn't already know. The problem isn't just the fact that I'm facing stronger opponents. You see, I also level freeze and that is completely legal within game rules and I am relatively stronger than most people around my level bracket. There sure aren't many people around my level, I don't deny that. The problem is, there are lots of players who are weaker than me in my SWB bracket. And the SWB bracket I am in is up to 87(ish) level. There must be at least 100 players if not even more in the server cluster inside that level bracket. Moreover, I am stronger than 90% of those players. The problem is, I only face the 10% that is stronger than me. That is regardless of my W/L history in the current event. And, as I said before, I don't wait over 59 seconds in the queue. The question is, whom the weaker 90% matching against while I'm only getting stronger opponents?
What you said about matchmaking procedures are facts and I am not denying that. However, they still don't answer my question.
My apologies, you seemed to be asking about matchmaking. There's no matchmaking in Sage World Battlefields. That's all about clicking.

I would definitely suggest not clicking on those people!
>>> That is regardless of my W/L history in the current event.
Your W/L history in SWB has no bearing on who you face in your next battle. It's solely ba
>>> However, they still don't answer my question.
Assuming "The question is, whom the weaker 90% matching against while I'm only getting stronger opponents?" is your question, it sounds like you're confusing SWB and Fighting Matsuri Challenge. Fighting Matsuri Challenge is the one where you have to try to win five battles with a team of 4 ninjas that you put together from a bank of 9 ninjas plus your main. If any of your ninjas die, they're out, though you can revive them a limited number of times. Sage World Battlefield is a PVP arena where you choose your premade team and fight other players in a battle royale as quickly as possible to amass points. Too many losses will kick you out of the battlefield, but you don't lose the ninjas if you are defeated. Instead, you gain a stacking damage buff.
So if you're asking about Fighting Matsuri Challenge, the answer is that at this stage in the game, at your power level, there simply may not be that many players below your power level that are playing the event. I know that in many server clusters people below a certain power threshold simply won't do PVP events because they expect nothing but straight losses, so it's quite possible that while people below your power level exist, they aren't playing the event.
And if you're asking about Sage World Battlefields, that's entirely up to you! You have to go find them!
agreed people are spending loads of money on this game and there are so many bugs and issues still in the game and nothing is being improved . BTW this game still runs on flash with is super old .
although i enjoy this game i just wished if oasis could spend a little bit more time fixing stuff
I was asking about Fighting Matsuri Challenge. The reason I mentioned SWB was to prove that weaker people around my level do exist, since if I am to face an opponent in FMC, they should be the same people that attend SWB because of cluster server system. And it is odd to assume that the same people who attend SWB wouldn't do FMC. I am completely familiar with how SWB works. The problem for me is FMC. While it could be true for some people to not do FMC at all, and this is still just an assumption, there must be some people doing it. And if I'm wrong, that means the cluster isn't as populated as it should be. If my way of thinking is wrong, that means there might be no point in level freezing. (Although, I don't know if it'd better or worse if I level up). Hence, the problem with the game is there is no proper strategy except spending money and spending money is "supposedly" optional.
Yesterday i joined Matsuri and i had three loses in a row, 0win ratio and i still faced higher lvl with higher power... i didnt wait more as 20 seconds.
In the end when i had 3 wins i faced lower lvl and lower power enemies... so i dont know how this system still working
I am avl 80 with 225k power....
Yo i have the same problem but i get what the mod is saying though, most of the time i just take my 3 losses and call it a day bc in like a cluster of around 70 people i always fight the p2w guys, i get matched with the same person more than once too and i may come off as blunt but for stuff like this, complaining about it on the forums probably wont change anything, oas will just keep doing things their way and it *s but we just gotta accept it =/
If there so few people, they need to change the matchmaking algorithm. What they are doing is "Ok, so we made this game, you'll play this game without any real updates for years!". Not to mention, the mobile version of the game, which is only available in China, is far superior to this version. This game runs on flash and it's not even supported by chrome anymore. That is how outdated the game is! But all we get is, a new broken gets released for $1000 and people buy it. Other than that, nothing new!
Same problem, tbh. even mine possible beat who over 100k than me. but Mitsuri kinda salty event, my server already third times has merged. Its mean, Cross server and Non Cross server are same thing while matchmaking in Matsuri.
Middle tier power just like milky the whales lmao, feed feed and feed them. I only interest and farm the sun coins from NT, SWB (Once battle, and quit) , Rogue Ninja, Arena SWB, Arena Matsuri. At the time, I bored met same enemy everyday even they called it "CROSS SERVER" Additionally GNW lmao.
The matchmaking problem is going on for years and in that time they have done NOTHING to fix it. The only thing that is changed is, there are even more freezers and big whales that are getting bigger and bigger after every PvP event since they are mostly getting easy wins bevause they get favorable matches and regular players are getting matched with OP players most of the time, no regards if you win or lose, and nobody will convince me otherwise since I also get matched after 10-15 seconds all the time. So they can say their matching system is complex and is always searching for good match, but I'm saying it's just random and gets you the first available opponent they can find since there are people leaving servers daily because of that. And their solution is SPEND or leave the game (or the most common excuse, be patient, we are working on it ). So they just open new servers that are alive for a month and after that players see the real picture of the game and they leave, server goes dead again, time to morve to a new server again. Developers are on vacation for years now, they can only think of new OP ninjas for whales to spend on and most of the new features they bring to the game are making the game worse, not better... :)))))
The reason you face weaker in SWB is because they are alts put in by players so they can farm points. Unlike SWB, Fighting Matsuri does not take place at a single point in time, which means if you cant find players, it is because those players are not queuing at the same time as you. This is not the fault of matchmaking but rather your schedule and the fact that your server is actually 90% alts. Welcome to Naruto Online, it's a Pay to Win game, so if youre not paying, stop complaining.
We all know it's a P2W game, but it's annoying to have a dead server after 1-2 months everytime cross server starts, just because they are not even trying to change something in their matching system... If they would make at least a little effort, remaining players would not have to play 2-3 alts just to keep up activity on their server to be able to register for GNW or do group events (like 3v3 or group SA run). Paying players would still get an edge since they would have more power than 95% of the players, but I think regular players should gradually get matched with opponents with higher BP (not actual level which is just * because of freezers), not getting matched with players 2-3 times their BP from the start.... I believe many players would continue to remain on servers if that would be fixed and we wouldn't have to beg for mergers every 1-2 months. :((((

90-95% of server are F2P players, if they will stop playing this game...
no SWB = not enought players (you need 10 for each side i think) or you will need bigger cluster
no GNW = no activity rate
no Training ground or maybe yes but they will face to each others
This game need F2P players...

Your comment on this topic is absolute bull and I am not even sorry to say that. The game IS a P2W game, but that doesn't deny the fact that almost 100% of players do not spend money. Most servers have only a few people that spends, maybe even fewer or none at all. It is ok to spend money on a game, but great majority of the players does not spend. If it was either pay or leave the game would be dead 2 years ago. Also, from my experience, most players don't have alts. People usually spend time with one account. The fact that some people need alts to maintain certain things suggests that there is something wrong within the game. So, instead of *ing up and paying for a garbage game, try to raise a voice so maybe you can at least get some feedback for your money. If the game was better and the target of the updates and developments were the majority of the players, people would be more willing to spend money for they would be having a more refined and joyous time. That would benefit the company as well. But the management team of this game is just lazy. Or maybe they are not getting paid or having issues with payments, I wouldn't know. But I don't care about any of that, I only care about the product I am being served and it's not as fun as it used to/supposed to be. The game used to have strategy elements in it, now you just see the same ninjas and teams over and over again that it is boring and annoying.
(P.s: You keep spending money, you probably don't even need a strategy in the game ;D)

I agree with you, this game won't be fun if it's recognized as a P2W game, an it won't be worth to spend your money if it's not worth it and it doesn't much give their effort to make this game better. But I kinda sensed that Excali Zero is actually saying the truth this game really is a P2W game, which upsets me also ヽ(`Д´)ノ. What I said may be true right? like look at all the events they keep offering us like the recharging rebates or events that requires us to pay for goodies. But sadly a majority of us playing this game are F2P players. And... pfft I'm not good at explaining. But this game is fun to play when there's balance. But there are times I also tried to quit. I also requested to the Mods/developers to change Hiashi Hyuga's 5th passive since it only benefits Neji. But not a single Mod/developer came to answer. To be honest this game have ups and downs. For me the ups are the F2P events giving free limited ninja's and ETC. But the downs are they don't mostly answer our suggestions for improving the game here in the forum. (sigh) I don't know if the mods/developers will try to give their efforts for us to keep enjoying playing this game. Or let us suffer from their injustice and greed. If they will then I don't think I'll still be playing this game in the future, not just me but a few of us right? I think I've putted much on my essay and I think many or some of you might disagree to my opinion. But you know what I'm just aiming to tell the mods/developers is that to start solving and applying our suggestions, requests and ideas to make this Naruto Online fun, exciting and easy to play. Not just answering our requests or suggestions here in the forum and Not Even Doing IT. I hope you all understand . That's is all and Auf Wiedersehen(bye bye!) Arigato go zaima *a(thank you!)
Their headquarters is in China. Oasis is a Chinese company. Westerners seem to have forgotten what that means. You could literally protest and absolutely nothing will happen.
Careful now, you pointing out that their opinions won't matter, people will think you are defending Oasis....
