Description of the problem you are experiencing : i had one secret scroll and wanted to unlock an element so i went to the 2nd page by pressing the down arrow and it instantly used the scroll i had to unlock the last element (arcane)

im aware of that bug you are talking about

but my case is different , i tested it in another account with no new elements unlocked and i got this :
