The normal skill increases the damage caused by summons by 100%, but the +1 increases the damage caused to summons by 50%. Meaning that you would cause 50% more damage to the nine tails. And the translation is fine, don't put your own mistake on others.

The normal passive increases the damage caused "by" summons, not by Yamato. I'm not sure if its a typo, but that's what it says.
