You can still sweep elite instances easily from the Ninja page. The only problem I've seen so far is that only three elite instances show up, for some reason, which only affects Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. And the new shop is WAY better than the old Collection page. It's much more easily searchable, you can sort out ninja you have at 5 stars, and if you miss a day, the amount of frags you can buy adds up so you aren't missing out.
