Are your ninjas 4-star? If you are not having group skills leveled at all times, start donating coins to get higher gruop skills, as they are more effective than strengthening. I would have to take a look at everything else to determine where else you're lacking.

It could be magatamas, refinements, mood, battle armor, summon runes, summons, ninja tools, and I'll assume you're fully cultivated and awakened.

The ninjas you are using themselves have lower base stats than Akatsuki ninjas for example, so that's a bit of power difference there. Your group is only level 3...I'd recommend either start actively recruiting or think about merging into a bigger group if you want power, as they make a huge difference. Your magatamas, battle armor, and refinements are fine for now, just slowly work on them over time.

Do your other summons have full runes, and at least level 3? Think of it like magatamas, you want them to have all level 3 before focusing on a single summon to level 4-5. Gold summon will come like rare ninjas, guaranteed after 40-60 pulls (free or scroll) so no worries. Your equipment is definitely lacking, sweep elite only for the daily, and focus the rest of your stamina on getting Kage gear. If you lack the scrolls, you need to complete Ninja Exam 80 ASAP (there are various guides out there).

That's good that your group is working on it, but that's probably the reason if you're comparing yourself to people of the same level from higher groups (my group is about to be level 9, group skills will increase to 45 shortly after). Well, I was just using Akatsuki as an example, but a 5-star ninja you can grind is better than 3-star of one you can't, for now in terms of battle power (I run 4-star Tobi and Kakashi, 2-star GNW Neji).

You definitely don't want to just fight exam 80 head on. I used Fire main, Ino, Neji, Kakashi. You basically will make Sasuke kill his own team, and permanently control him as well. What do you mean you're not using them? The runes on summons you don't use, still give you stats.

If you're free pulling, it'll only be a matter of time before you get a designated rare of that treasure. It's like refinements and although I don't know the specific cap (or if there is one), the average is 40-60 pulls. What I meant regarding your group was, talk with your entire group and see if they want to join a bigger group altogether, otherwise, start recruiting :P.

You tried a control team without a tank, hence why I used Neji. If he took a combo Round 1, or too much damage, I just reset and tried again.

For treasures, have you counted the amount of pulls you've done? I've never seen anyone go past 70 pulls on a treasure without any designated Rares, or a Gold summon for the summon treasure. Free pulls count towards this amount as well. Of course, it's incredibly rare (if not impossible) to get a designated rare on your first few pulls. It's like refinements, not completely luck based, eventually you'll get something.

It looks that way, get runes filled up, work on the other stuff, and try to beat Ninja Exam 80. Trust me, it's do-able but it took me like 20 or more runs before I got the perfect one.

Pulling every day from a month ago would be 30, no? Why did you multiply it by 2?

Naruto clones would just give Jugo more hits (because for some reason most ninja exam ninjas get the bloodthirsty passive and will sweep through your ninjas if you run clones/summons). Hinata may work, but Neji is able to dodge without consuming chakra. If you really dislike him that much, it's up to you to find another method to beat it.

The reason I use Neji is to NOT get hit at all. If you get hit, restart and try again (it's possible for him to dodge everything without needing to use chakra, unlike Hinata). It'll take a lot of patience, but that's what it takes to climb to the top of power. You can wait to get stronger, but it'll still take a similar set up to beat Exam 80 (they just do WAY too much damage).

Of course, the average is 40-60 pulls, so if you had a Gold summon after 35, you'd be LUCKY. Expect one in the next week or two though. It's not bad, but I don't think healers are worth it in the current meta, as you die too quickly.

There's no lineup that can beat ALL lineups, that's the beauty of this game; in that, for every lineup, there is a counter to it. The one that beats the majority of people for me (except dirty earth mains) is Tobi, Kakashi, GNW Neji, Fire main. I am able to control 2 ninjas Round 1, which limits the options of my opponent round 2. Then, round 2, my position 1 Tobi can initiate a high damage single-target combo, that also ignites, paralyzes, acupunctures, and imprisons (so I can choose to try to kill one of their ninjas or interrupt what they want to do/use). This can get countered by immune to debuff/control teams (like having gakido, lightning passive, etc), and lacks the damage to deal with Earth main's shield stacking.

  • With Neji, I've been going through this ninja exam during this conversation, about 10 times now, and I dodged... 3 attacks I believe... No more, maybe less :/ Is this dodge chance possible to raise?
Not that I am aware of unfortunately, are you able to take 1 hit without dying? If so, then 1 hit round 1 is fine (as long as it doesn't combo and Neji lives). Round 2, Suigetsu is going to get his mystery off, so it's fine to let Neji take that. The more important thing is that Sasuke kills at least 1 or 2 members Round 2. I chaos both Suigetsu and Sasuke, Round 1, and have to hope Round 2 Sasuke can finish the job.

That's definitely a problem, you need all 4 ninjas alive round 2. I'd make a video on how to do it, but I'm way higher in power now, and it wouldn't run the same as I did back then. Well I think the reason you can't beat people your level is that your power is way below the average (the original intention of this thread). Run what you need to as long as it works for you, but I was just giving you a point in the direction my server went (some people run Round 1 kill teams so healing is moot). Yes, at 25K power, someone can still kill my Kakashi Round 1, if I do nothing to stop them.

  • Could you give me one piece of advice then?

My current team has an amazing combo, 9 hits from each starting point, but the problem is... I can't start a combo very often, Sasuke needs 2 turns to launch his, and it leaves only main. Is there any valuable substitute for Sasuke, with 3 chases? Or maybe a good substitue for Kabuto, with more than 1 chase? Sth that won't kill my combo, but will allow me to trigger it more than once ;/

This team sometimes works, sometimes is a curse for me, so I want to do some changes, but at the same time , expying Ino and Tayuya from 2* is a bother xD. SO, basically, what I'm asking, is what can I really do ninjawise to improve this ;/ I want to focus on Elite Instances, but of I change my team it will be a bit difficult to do so.

And, concerning the main topic, thank you all for your help, you're awesome ^_^
The amount of hits is nice, but Tobi, for example, can crit 4k damage off his chase alone, being only 1 hit. Sometimes, quality is better than quantity. The lineup I'm working towards consists of Kakuzu, Tobi, and Hidan (I'd prefer Konan though). Three ninjas that are easily obtained, and can be 4-star through time. You have multiple threats. Tobi himself is really strong right now, and hard to control as he dodges. If they focus Hidan, he will just revive. They will most likely try to focus Kakuzu, which then you will know what they will try to do and can formulate counter-strategies. (There are endless possiblities on the lineups you can create with the ninjas currently available, Shikamaru can catch a lot of people off-guard!) At the end of the day, I can only suggest things that fit with my playstyle and preference. It's best if you find what you like the most (control, dps, etc) and try to come up with lineups around that. The lineup above has no control, so it may falter against some lineups.

Don't listen to people that want you to stop leveling. Do NOT strengthen your equipment to max as it consumes way too much coins and 300k coins is equal to 100 contribution, which when spent on group skills, benefits ALL ninjas, not just the 1 holding the piece of equipment. Strengthen once you cap your group skills.

Oh wow you're are REALLY behind, definitely work on getting it up bit by bit. Please don't think view teams like that, or you may find your team to be extremely disappointing in practice (Trust me, Ten Puppet Chiyo is underwhelming in normal fights). If you want to be efficient, you can be like me, gather up the fragments, but wait until you draw them from the Seal Treasure. This will save you 60 fragments towards 4-Star.

However, since you're really determined to have survivability and combos, I recommend you switch into an Earth main. This way you have a tank, and can run higher-combos without worry, as the Earth main also shields ninjas. However, the road you want to walk is going to require either the Pain ninjas or other pay-to-obtain ninjas (at least for now, they will be easier to obtain later on).

  • Well... there are some problems with that :/

    1. I LOVE the design of Fire Main, the other ones are a bit meh to me... It would hurt a lot to switch it :/
    2. I wanted to have a control team, with Tayuya, Ino, Kabuto... but... it is baaad.... no damage, poor control, short life :/ this discouraged me from control since only Hinata is a bulky controler
    3. I'm also very impatient. I would have a lot more ninjas now, if I had saved my seal scrolls, but I simply can't :/
    4. I'm unable to get paid ninjas.
    5. I now feel like a total noob when it comes to teambuilding :v I dunno what is good and bad anymore xDD
    6. Halp meh... I'm lost xD
You CAN have a control team, with Fire main, Itachi, Ino, and then add a high damage character like Tobi or Kakuzu. There are unlimited possiblities on how you could control (Immobile, sleep, chaos, and acupuncture). There are lots of ninjas that do any of these and adding 1 of them in addition to your main is already great control. Then, you can have 2 damage dealing ninjas.

Impatience will lead to a lot of frustration, especially if you're not p2w. It's going to come down to trial and error to find the lineups that you like and work well. Try working towards a Tobi team, if you don't want to use GNW Neji and Kakashi, try Tobi, Sasuke, Hinata.
