Boruto will never be probably as popular as naruto because naruto is kinda "old-school" many people who watched naruto saw him in some TV shows long time before they actually started watching whole anime.

But Boruto might be popular later, not for us, we are too old for Boruto already, maybe for little children who started watching boruto first instead naruto because of the better quality.

Anyway we wont forget the good old days when Naruto had like 50 fillers before some really good fight! We were there, and we waited every week patiently!
