If you are doing all of your Daily Missions (reaching 100 points of activities) daily, you should be able to receive 5 Fireworks Pack for free, and that's 35 in total for the whole cycle of the event and aside from that, claiming that Milestone Packs should be able to give you enough points to get all 80 frags of Jiraiya [Sage Mode].

As for your question of how much you should save up to get a decent ninja, my suggestion to you is to save up until 20k coupons at least and buy your desired ninja during Fukurokumaru's Deals event so that, you'll also gain good power items along with free ninja.

Fukurokumaru's Deal is one of the regular events on our cycles. It is where you can get free items and also a free Ninja from spending Coupons or Ingots. This incoming cycle has it so you'll see what I'm talking about.

As for level freezing, I don't have complete knowledge about it since I never did it. Not that I don't want to do it but it was too late already for me when I found out about this strategy. Most players who have Level70 and above owns more or less 25k BP if I remembering it correctly. If you are planning on doing Level Freeze, you should start now. Mainly focus on upgrading your power and avoid instances and events that give too much experience. Not that I'm promoting it but it is your choice on how you will play your game.

And for the where to farm coupons, there's a lot of ways to earn coupons from just playing the game regularly. Doing Convoys and Plunders daily, playing the game 60mins, participating in events like Myoboku Trial, Fireworks Festival and Wishing Lantern will get you some coupons. Some Daily Missions like Survival Trial has a chance of dropping Coupons also, as well as spinning the Group's Lucky Wheel daily. There's also a chance of obtaining Coupons every weekend from Weekend Events (Ninja Puzzle and Scroll of Truth/False from doing Team Instances). You may also choose to purchase Monthly Card, Platinum Monthly Card or a Medal to get more coupons.
