standard attack "always" attack ninja in front of you, unless your opponent have ninja or puppet that attract standard attack (for exampale hinata will usually attract enemy standard attack). but usually there are kind of standard attack that ignore this skill and keep attacking ninja in front of him (example here would be naruto)

now mystery attack, can target enemy ninja but u have to click your target first and you have to target first before activate your mystery

i did so i knew what i talking about, lets clear thing first here, in your post you only said you never attack a certain ninja even though you click them. attack with what? mystery? or standard? what is enemy ninja using? do they have puppet? do they have ninja that attract standard attack(neji / hinata)?.
you not even state who your enemy main. asking for help but not clearly say anything.

sorry i was writing this with full emotion before edit. after reading your reply to my answer before, i think you've mistaken "chase" with attack, you know chase, right?
if it was not chase, it is impossible to attack ninja that behind other ninja, unless you was facing 4 lightning main whose attack low hp, and your kisame in low hp which is impossible.
