Ibiki or Summer Kurenai can suppress immunity so that he won't use mystery or do anything in round 2. Kimimaro can increase his mystery cooldown time, so that Minato won't be able to use mystery. Nagato Edo can increase chakra cost for 2 rounds. Kimono Itachi can increase mystery cooldown also. A good Kakusu blitz team can still kill Minato teams, because you can interrupt him with your unmissable mystery and fast kill all the support ninjas + main. Madara Edo Release would be a problem for Kakuzu tho, but Kisame can fix that I guess. With Kakuzu it will all depend on BP mostly and with other ninjas you can be a bit less. For example, I managed to beat Minato teams with my Minato + having that control for him to skip a mystery use with having sometimes around 50k less bp. Equal power Kushina BT would also be stronger, because Minato will have a problem to kill her fast and debuffs do not effect her. Overall, it will mostly depend on your team, how stacked your pos 1 is and overall BP + which ninjas you use. Keep in mind that you will have to trigger dodge to use mystery cooldown increase stuff + some control mysteries. Some will have unmissable status like Ibiki but most won't. For better control chance better use it at pos 2.

he is pretty squishy so nuke him with mysteries, also kushina is a pretty good counter with immune sup and immobile

I actually run Edo Minato (with full SB and Bond Barrier) SB Kushina and SB 8 Tails Bee with EM, it actually works really well in a really * way.

Yeah OP is is going to lose to a lot meta ninjas, they should just focus on getting power and said meta ninjas.

i would choose a plan for the future, either getting kakuzu 4star or getting a meta Konoha to go with founder (since he is a nice support)

the combination of founder and kakuzu is not good, maybe with like itachi Susanoo (I cant think of another Konoha / Akatsuki)

depends on your reason for playing really.

as others have said you will lose, but not just to minato, you will lose to all meta's because unless you can throw money in the 5 digit range at this game you simply cannot compete with the people who dominate.

you can follow Danzo's advice, try to gather power and get the same meta ninjas yourself,. in which case you will be using bland preset teams that 99% of players already use and still losing because your meta lineup vs the meta lineup of someone with more money, the wallet will always win. At this moment you refer to minato as the plague, but before him was edo hiruzen, before that was tenten gnw/mabui, before that was lightning root. The way this game is run there will ALWAYS be tedious, boring meta's that people with more money than imagination will flock to, so unless you are very very wealthy i am afraid that metas will always plague this game and will always give you a hard time.

but if you play the game for fun, try not to let losing to meta's get you down, believe me I know that is easier said than done, but just collect ninjas you want, experiment in arena, try to come up with teams that you can have fun playing with, just enjoy it for what it is, a game..... just my two cents , make of it what you will

That's not necessarily true, you can be f2p and still do good, you will loose to whales but can win most other f2p and low spenders, who cares if there is 10 people who beat you when you beat other 90 in swb. The only thing i cannot win as f2p is space time final, everything else is possible. You just have to be active player and not miss any free rewards.

As for Edo Minato counter, he is actually not popular at all on our cross server cluster as move 1, because he loose to Kushina+Gaara or Kakuzu+Gaara very badly, like same power he can't even move those 2 from 100% hp and most run those here.
