This here will be a guide regarding how mystery's ''speed'' works in-game.

Starting off,you need to know the ''movevement'' speed and ''initive''.

Let's start with movement speed first.

These numbers here represent the movement ''speed'',the lower the number the quicker you go:
7 4 1
8 5 2
9 6 3
Whatever the number that's not occupied, get skipped, meaning if u have no ninja in placement 2, placement 3 is regarded as move 2.

As to what these ''move 1'' and ''move 2'' do, obviously it means that whoever has move 1 will always go before whoever has move 2,that applies to the enemy too though. Meaning whoever u have in ''move 1'' will always go before whoever the enemy has in ''move 2'' regardless of initive.

Let's assume you are the lightening-tobi team, and your enemy is the lightening-kakashi team.
Tobi has ''move 2'' although he's in placement 7,but since placement 2-6 is not occupied, placement 7 is regarded as move 2. Kakashi's in movement 9,but he's given ''move 2'' because move 4-8 are not occupied as you can see. Kakashi and tobi both have the same ''move number'' although their placement is different,if they both use mystery at the same round, whoever has the highet initive, goes 1st,which i'll talk about later on. But if you use lightening main's mystery and the enemy uses kakashi's mystery, your lightening main will go 1st even if his initive is much lower than kakashi's initive, due to his move number being lower than kakashi.

You should now understand why some players much weaker than you in power go 1st,it's mainly due to their placement of their ninjas, meaning if ur main has move 4,and the enemy is 10k power weaker than you but his main has move 1,don't be surprised when he goes 1st.

Initive is fairly easy to explain, initive is increased by refining your equipment and improving your battle armor, initive is very crucial to the game, because whoever has the highest initive always goes 1st,as long as they have the same move number.

If you understood what i meant then u should be able to answer this question: ''Who will attack 1st of these two?''
A)

B)

If your answer was A or B,they were both wrong,it'll then come down to initive, because some ppl think the ''placement'' comes into effect and not the move number (I used to think so too). Meaning someone who has all 4 ninjas in the back will have the same move number as someone who has all 4 ninjas in the front, So if u want to use clones or something in the front, but u think it'll damage ur initive, don't worry, it won't as long as you have the right movement number.

I had a guide about this before, but it was crappy and had false info in i, so i decided to make a new one.I had to experiment around before making this ''guide'' (if you'll consider this sh*tty text a guide XD)

Also, don't go typing ''this is common knowledge'' as a reply, this guide is for new players/ high level players that don't know how mystery works.

Note: This guide applies to who attackes 1st (normal attack) meaning a ''move1'' will attack before ''move2'' and if it's a ''move1'' vs ''move1'' situation it'll come down to initive.

Note 2: Revive mystery like chiyo are activated after everyone is done using mystery and normal attack, meaning move number and initive don't count for them.

Note 3: Mysteries are always faster than normal attacks,so once everyone has finished using mystery, then the normal attack will commence, but if you use enviroment changing mysteries like sasuke (the 1st part) initive will come to play, and ur enemy will attack 1st if he has higher initive.

  • then why come if i'm in same move as someone else, know 100% i have higher init and their mystery go firsts (usually with lightnings and fires mysteries)
That's not possible, they either probably have higher initive or they have a lower move number, also there's no way to check the enemy's initive,so it's not a 100% chance for you to have higher initive, but i get what u mean by ''you have a higher initive'' if this helps, having clones around doesn't mess with the move number, the move number is pre-set before the battle starts according to your lineup.

  • question, why does sasuke kirins cast first than hinatas myster?, sasuke is at the back, hinata in front, initiative for hinata is much higher. so why?
As Kyu said, there is a * ''feature'' that will take a while to explain, and rarely happens so i decided to keep it outside this guide, but if you want to know, when you activate a mystery there's a split second delay before it happens (not a literal split second but something close to that), so if your enemy uses mystery at the start of the round, and it's been a while since he issued it (meaning he used the chakra but it hasn't activated yet) and then you just decide to use another mystery after waiting for a while, the mystery you activated first will go first. If you don't understand what i'm saying then just don't be slow in clicking, not telling you to spam your keyboard with *on mashing but don't decide what mystery to activate very lately.

  • It is possible, but only in survival.
That's not possible, all fights use the normal battle system (except plot and elite instance) only exception in survival is that ur fighting a bot,but the mystery order works the same way there because the bot is using a player's team.

  • Yes the poster above me is correct, Survival and ESPECIALLY practice breakthrough the game "boost" teams.

So you might fight a guy that you would DESTROY in duels but if you face his team in practice breakthrough they will be faster and hit harder. Its kinda annoying to be honest
There's no such thing as a ''boost'' in survival,if anything you have a much easier time fighting ppl in survival, because they are automated and the moves don't change, meaning if your fighting a neji and hinata and you don't know who will use the mystery,u can just continue the fight, once you know quit then re-enter (you don't lose ur ninjas). The enemy doesn't hit harder in trial either btw, trial is basically a bot using a player's team, the bot doesn't add anything extra.

  • Cant agree with you here, I have the 4th or 5th highest power on Server 2 for water and Im level 75.

First round of breakthrough was against a guilde mate named Martin who is level 72 and his team nearly killed me. They kept going first every single time and dropping my tank down ultra fast. He is nowhere near my power.
You might have higher power but he might have higher initive, or u might have higher initive and higher power but he has a lower move number,if you insist you have the same move number though and he still goes 1st,feel free to post ur team and the enemy ur fighting in a pm or in this thread here and i can check it out for you.

  • No he is not crazy, survival is broken. There is no ''boost'' but for your team the gear works like this, it takes total and gives 1/4 to each ninja, just like secondary and third ranked teams, so it evens it out, makes your tanks less tanky and makes your fastest guy slower by giving some stats to other characters. For your enemy gear works normal, that's why they are faster even with worse refines, because your fastest guy is sharing his speed with others.
If that was the case, then no one would be able to beat trial 10-12 using only his main team (i beat trial 10-12 using only 4 ninjas, and they all have 3/4 hp left by the end of it),also if that was the case, then you would notice there's a severe hp cut to your team in trial, which doesn't really exist. So,in conclusion i can say that the equipment is not divided upon the ninjas

P.S not arguing,but i didn't know how else 2 say it XD.

  • You have same exact amount of stats, they are just divided evenly to 4 ninjas, which is very bad because most people focus them, for example i have 1050 speed on my fastest guy and 650 on others, but in survival all 4 of my members will be 750 speed.

Actually you mentioned hp and that is how you can test this for yourself very easily. Take hats off 2 of your ninjas and notice your ninjas health, then enter survival and it will be very obvious.
You can check the hp using this method, bring 3 ninjas alongside ur main in a plot/elite instance mission, write down the hp of those 3 ninjas (individual hp). Bring those same 3 ninjas into survival and check the hp of them,if it's the same then the equipment isn't divided,if it isn't then equipment is divided as you say. Another method is, remove those 8 ninjas from ur team, and only have 4 instead of 12,check the hp,then add in 8 ninjas, and check if the hp changes.

Btw,equipment is divided upon your ninjas, but not the way u think it is. If you have 4 ninjas in your team they will use the equipment they have, but if one of those 4 ninjas die, when he's replaced with another ninja, that backup ninja will take up the dead ninja's equipment, giving him the same status boosts and refinement level.
