You do know that itachi gives his chakra at round 2 right and by then sasuke will already use his mystery. Also he gets his chakra boost at the end of each round so he need to have 100 chakra round 1.
He works also with kisame samehada + konan taisho and fire/water/lightning main. Same trick.

Itachi's barrier cost 0 chakra and lightning mains interrupt is 20 chakra. Madara gives 40 chakra per mystery. Round 1 you should have 80 chakra going towards Sasuke. At the end of round 1 Sasuke uses that 80 chakra towards his passive which increases his ninjutsu by 120% (15% per 10 chakra). I did think Itachi's barrier gave 100 chakra round 1, but I am wrong. 80 chakra is still enough to cancel sleep if timed correctly.
If you use fire main you can get 100 chakra round 1 (by using one of his 0 chakra mysteries) if you really want to use itachi + madara founder.

Don't worry.
It's not easy, of course, but in this game you just plan ahead for months thinking about what you would do with potential future lineups, and even if you are a very moderate spender (two monthly cards in combo and some low steps of froggy with a bunch of decent recharge events) you may easily get 12/15k coupons per month. Making him 4* once you have him 3* would hardly cost more than 25k coupons if you take the right events to spend on him.
