I agree with all of you (as do 95% of the players I know), but Oasis doesn't see this as a problem and they will delete this thread soon, like they did the previous one we talked about this, becasue they don't want new players to see the truth about the game as it gets crossserver. They know about this and they are not willing to do anything about it, since the freezers have been doing this for so long and gained so much power, they can't punish them now or change anything. And working on a new matching algorithm would mean they would have to do some actual work on the game. :)))

Everyone that says just do the easy F2P events for sun and moon scrolls is either a developer or a longtime freezer because PvP is the point of this game and I want to test my skills with players from other servers in a fair match, not being matched to a player with 5-times more power than me in my first Matsuri match, just becasue he's been playing on server months older as me and freezing all that time, just to abuse the character level based matching system, not real battle power. But as Oasis pointed out to me, the matching system works normally and the game is suppose to be challenging, but I don't see a challenge for a player with 200k BP being matched to me with 60k BP. And for me, that is mission impossible to win, since it usually means getting one-shotted.

Every matching system must be changed to be based on actual BP and people can continue freezing as long as they like, they would just start getting challenged and this game would be turned back into the game of SKILLS, not the game of MONEY. I don't mind spenders, I also spend in the game to get some good ninjas I want, just don't go crazy on it and get every single rare it comes out. And I also think there are events where big spenders can show of their advantages and it's called Zenith and Space Time (and Decisive Bonds), but other events should change their matching system.

Matsuri can give you a match with someone that is 3-4 times stronger as you, but that is after you win 3-4 matches in a row, but before that happens they should fix this and always give you a match that is near your BP and after every win/loss the difference threshold in BP should gradually increase/decrease.

The same goes for Sage. Put together people with difference in BP about plus/minus 15-20%, don't put in the same field people with 40k BP and 220k BP. The big players get 4-5 winning streaks before I can even finish a single match. :))) But Iif you do put them together, make them fight eachother - if they get to 5-game winning streak, they can only attack players with a 5-games or more winning streak. And when you get to 10, they can only attack players with 10-game or more winning streaks. And now we see players with 2-3 winning streaks at most and 1 players in each field with 20+ winning streaks becasue they are just hunting small fish and oneshot them... Or they should prevent players from attacking players when the difference in power is too big, like they do in Training Grounds...

I know many players have ideas about this, but I think Oasis doesn't want to hear them, since this is going for a long time already and that is the reason why servers are dying so fast after they start participating in cross server events, players just leave becasue they can't win in impossible matchups and PvP starts becoming unfair .

Hehehehe, hatemore, you (and players like you) are the only player whose opinion is valued by Oasis and they base their excuses that everything is working normal. I'm not saying that p2w players can't get advantages (as I mentioned, I spend some in the game also, but don't go crazy on it), but I think it's normal from players to ask being matched with players with similar BP at least in the first few matches of Matsuri (or after a loss) or be put in Sage together with players of similar power. And when you become a star player of a previous battlefield, you get pushed into higher level Sage next time. Don't just put random people together, because it's easier to do it like that (last night I fought people from 50k all the way to 334k). I would love to see the logic behind their matching system, I'm confident I could find a better way to match people together. What bothers me, is that Oasis is always telling people, that they do not approve stalling a character level and it's against their rules, but they are not doing anything about it and they are just looking away from the obvious problem. And that is why everyone starts leaving after cross server events start and we are left with 5-10 semi-active people on a server and then active players have to wait 2-3 months before they merge servers and can eventually have a GNW again. Why are players always leaving after cross server starts? Is it their fault that Oasis is too lazy to update their matching system and is claiming that this is a game where you can prove your skills, but in truth, this is a game where you can do anything and get a free pass only when you are spending more than others? I'm not saying I want to become the strongest in the game and win every match (this is just a game for me, but I want them to make it better), I just want them to do something about the bad matching system, that gives beginners impossible odds to win anything against people that are abusing the matching system for months.

  • The game will never be matched with players of similar power, it removes the reason to spend otherwise.

I somehow understand your point, but I think the spenders will still be spending to get those rare ninjas faster and get the advantage over only F2P players (the mtaching doesn't need to be exact precise, just more player friendly, not hitting you with a player 3-4 times your power right away). But in the long term I think casual spenders who recharge every couple of months would stay in the game longer and would also have the desire to spend more often to get that rare ninja that would make them become even more competitive when being matched with players with similar BP and that rare ninja would be the difference in beating them even if they lack in power a little. But I know Oasis does not care about their players/community being loyal and happy with the game, they just care about the money and that is why I believe they don't do anything about the level freezers and matching system.

Hatemore, nobody was insulting you and you are attacking us for expressing an opinion about the game which we are allowed to do. And since many other players agree this is a problem we are only trying to point it out to developers and maybe some of the players have an idea how to change this and make the game experience better for f2p and semi-p2w players aswell. Otherwise players will just continue leaving for new servers after they start cross events and it's boring to play on a server with only a few active people and waiting until you get merged with other (dying) servers. I love the PvP part of the game, but it's no fun if you get one-shotted, but I know you will just say I need to spend more to be able to keep up with the big dogs and freezers. I just hope something changes in the game, because the game is getting a bad reputation. And I would politely ask you to not comment if you don't have a valid point or reasoning for your opinion.

I agree with you, MissMarionette, I think this is gotten worse now since the last server I played for a longer period of time and then I took about 18 months break from the game because of the weird matchups being made more frequent. That is why it's also frustrating for players who actually play the game as it's meant ot be and level up with a steady and normal pace are getting punished because Oasis is not trying to take any preventive actions to somehow stop people from freezing characters. I guess there's just no point in raising max character level, since many of the players will never reach that level because they stop at leveling somewhere betwen lvl 75 and 85. And since they are not doing that, they should at least do some work on matching system and give f2p and low spending players also a chance to finish some of the fighting achievements in Season system.
