the limit may differ for each one, but is there an absolute maximum as an end target for all players, and if i intentionally kept avoiding getting* moon coins to raise this limit to 100k for example in a next week cycle as u said, if i reached that limit next week will it remain 100k or reset back to a set standard ba

Limit resets every week. Half of any you missed from your current cap gets added into the next week cap. So if your normal weekly limit for Moon coins is 68,000 and you only get 64,000. The next week your max cap will be 70,000. If you get all 70,000 then the cap the week after that will be back to 68,000.
Note that missing coins purposely to increase the cap hurts you more than maxing out every week since you automatically lose that 50% of what you could have gotten.There is no change to sun scrolls those are always fixed.
