It depends on situation.

Until 200k+ power, Def & Res is a better choice due to problems you will have against higher power people(which you will have a lot).

After that point, Ninjutsu & Crit works better. You will be more equal odds against most people.

For Arena, my choice is Def & Res but Ninjutsu works quite well too.
