Insightful post, I have been thinking of how to make Kisame work, don't have access to lightning main but I think you are on the right track with it. I think Root of Warrior passive is something to be considered vs certain lineups as well as you mentioned.

Been trying some Itachi+Kisame lineups but I think it is overkill on the chakra, Kisame doesn't seem to have issues reaching high amounts himself.
