Dear Community of Naruto Online,
I am frankly disappointed in your actions to cause my "Open Letter To Oasis Part 2" to be closed. All you guys had to do was be respectful and not say things that you know would get your post deleted. I do wish you all had a better sense of self control (yes, that applies to me as well mind you and Jib knows that), and I had hoped that my thread would encourage doing things the right way or at least in a polite manner. Yes, I know you guys are frustrated, but if you had put your frustration to something useful or positive, we could had kept the thread going. I do not blame Daiske for closing the thread or any of the mods deleting the posts, as everyone knows what we can and can't speak about as we know that leads to a post being deleted.
So I leave you with some words for the future. Take your frustrations, vent them out in an appropriate manner and control yourselves a bit more. Let's show that we are a positive community instead of kicking and screaming like children. So let's work together and try and make a difference the right way. (Yes I know not everyone who had participated in my thread didn't act terribly so this isn't directed at anyone who abides by the rules.)
-A Player Disappointed With The Community
did u expect people just sit down and take it? ofc they're going to vent frustrations, some more emotional, others more logical, but still most times it's "inciting drama" drama is always going to be a thing everytime we talk about issues related to oasis *ing up, at this point they should know people will point out, and that's not inciting drama, that's a fact.
I never told anyone or expected anyone to just sit down and take it. I would rather the community be smart about how we do things. We know the rules of the game, and to win the game, we have to play by their rules. That is my point.
I can write this because its true. Blame doesn't just go for Oasis, it also goes to the players for violating the rules in the forum. If we as a community want Oasis to listen to us, we can't be showing them that we are a bunch of entitled children who just throw a tempter tantrum. If we want to be heard by Oasis, we have to do things the right way.
Are you actually suggesting that the reason Oasis isn't listening to player feedback is the manner in which we conduct ourselves on the forums?
Ask yourself this. "Would you listen to a group of people who are throwing insults, attacking you, or being rude to you?" I sure as heck wouldn't. Why would Oasis take us seriously if we can't behave properly?
@Bakfromute, we simply explain to them the issues and we don't let up until something is done without being rude or attacking them. Just like I have done with my 2 Open Letters to Oasis threads.
im an old player of this game with 200k power on both account but renji i know you trying to abide by the rules but doing that wont solve anything.
think of it as this i quit the game a month ago and only came back to see player rant on the forums. But yet you say be loyal dogs to oasis? and listen and be polite?
that dosent run the world my G money does and clout. If you listen to there so called rules and be polite like nothing around you isnt happening they will think ok
the game seems find let add more B.S i was many players like you that tried to fix stuff through kindness and critism, which you need both in order to improve.
But oasis like taking out the critism and only like hearing goodfeedback not bad so there not going to listen they havent in years the only way to not feel frustrated is taking a
break my G.the game isnt going nowhere.but maybe when you log on in a while community and oasis will hold hands for once and quit this toxic war that what makes forums
forums! your susposed to listen to both critism and good advice to improve quit deleting and ignoring players oasis! or your game wont reach heights!
So a few things, abiding by the rules does help, it prevents posts from being deleted and threads from being locked. Abiding by the rules let's us keep threads opened so we can voice the concerns.
"But yet you say be loyal dogs to oasis? and listen and be polite?"
I never made such claims. I am simply stating we should do things a certain way that Oasis won't remove threads or posts. I'm not here to tell you to keep playing the game and that things will get better. I'm not telling you to also leave the game. I am simply trying to fight for change in a way that maybe Oasis would listen.
There is also a difference in being polite and acting like there is nothing wrong. We can still voice our concerns, but if we do it the wrong way, why would Oasis even want to listen?
"the game seems find let add more B.S i was many players like you that tried to fix stuff through kindness and critism, which you need both in order to improve."
Which is why not only this Thread was made, but both my Open Letters to Oasis. Things aren't just Oasis' fault. I am willing to call out not only Oasis, but also the community cause I know we all can be better.
@Bakfromute
There was so many things wrong with how Daiske claimed what the survey was (aka not official) and threw the other mods under the bus. (Not only that but one of the Mods and was one of the people in Naruto Online Community Discord had acted like it was official, heck, even Daiske did. Though, Daiske claims he has learned from that mistake in making it more clear that it wouldn't be official in the future.
Wow, you really are then. Alright, then lets address this.
If I am offering a service to people, and the feedback is overwhelmingly negative, yet I push back directly into their feedback, doubling down on what they are telling me they don't want, then it wouldn't be unexpected for the customer/client to be upset, rude or even hostile towards me. It's awful customer service. Not listening to their honest feedback because of their decorum would be a childish business move and wouldn't even cross my mind. If any of my employees had that sort of attitude, they wouldn't be the type i'd expect to go very far.
But....but let's be very crystal clear here. EVEN IF, that wasn't the case, it would be completely irrelevant. We have confirmation by those who have worked in close contact with Oasis, and we know that
A) They don't actually care what is written on these forums at all, and you're deluding yourself if you think they do
B) They ignore even the consul of the community faces who DO care about what we write here. That's why we have had some big names resign with such a depressed disposition. We are told it's pointless by the very people who are fighting for our interests, with the nearest voice to the ear of the dev.
I know you want to do things the right way, but dude, I just don't know how to say this without sounding like a *; You've got this fantasy world in your head that just isn't helpful. You can scold people here for being angry all you want, but you're just factually wrong, if you think it matters to Oasis. they. dont. care.
1, I don't know what service you would be offering. (Yes, details like this matter, as things work very differently from offering fast food, to designing video games, to making movies. Just to name a few.)
2, If people were kicking and screaming saying they want you to change how you run your business, I guarantee you, you won't be receptive to that feedback and you would double down. Unless you're one of those people who would cave to the pressure, in which case, that is a problem in of itself.
3, If people were being polite about criticism, wouldn't you be more receptive to it? I know I would.
4, I don't care if people like you think what I am trying to do is pointless cause you feel that it is. I'm the kind of guy who would call out anyone for doing wrong. So this is a thread telling the community, that they need to control themselves just a bit better. (Yes, I included myself mind you.)
5, I love this game and I will keep fighting for the community and I will defend or at least try to understand it from Oasis' point of view if need be.
6, I never once scolded ANYONE for being angry. I am "scolding" as you put it, on HOW they dealt with it in a negative way. There is a major difference you seem to miss.
If they come to the door of my house with weapons and torches in their hands i think i would do it, overall if I'm the mayor of the city where they live and i only stole money from them for years, while continuously i made fun of them with promises over promises that i knew would never become truth in concrete and while i never told them once the truth about who i was and how i managed their public business.
I mean, technically Oasis never stole money, so idk why you would compare a criminal act to Oasis offering a service and the ability to pay money.
I don't see why increasing sun and moon cap wouldn't also help hard grinders. I easily cap both early in the week, and have hundreds of strange stones thrown into mood scrolls or whatever. To me the cap is one of the biggest walls that keeps active players from catching up to bigger spenders, no matter how much they put in. I could easily make near double the current caps, and the amount of resources I could get would be ridiculous were they not so dang low
Well, even if the cap was increased, you're still only limited to (for example) 50 Adv Refines, then 5 every day. So it isn't like increasing the cap will actually help you.
Op how naive you are,the post would be closed, deleted no matter how polite the Community would be,haha.Every forum is the same, negative comments on the game gets deleted or closed, dont blame the Community who have every right to be pissed, rather blame the company who never listens to their customers.
Since the mods have kept it open for 6 days now, I'd say you'd be wrong ^-^
How about we all just quit the game? meh me saying this I c*ready see my post being deleted
But i mean there are other games out there we c*l just move to since this game is kinda um ruined to say in a nicer way
Legit, I'm honestly on the verge of doing that myself. Just waiting on a new PC to come in, then its bye bye Naruto Online and hello World of Warcraft x)
Lol you made me realized one thing, how pointless Hope is.
Hope is only useful when one is uncertain and when things are not in your hands.
Where hope gives you the patience to wait it out until something good comes back.
But taking action when you can is the real deal, I just need practicality,
If the value of fun / content / gameplay / community fall below the price,
i'll just not spend (or if I can't) or hop to other games, or if the grinding gets too old, then i'll really just quit for good.
Not wanting to jump in on the bandwagon and get back in the matrix only to fight agents while trying to free struggling people
After escaping the spending competition, best thing is sit back and just poke around as f2p, p2p... RIP p2w.
I have taken action ^-^ First 2 open letters to Oasis that I made, then this one for the community to also get its act together. What are you doing to try and better this game?
